Walking distance to the tourist things :-) nice hotel! Only complaint is we wanted a no smoking room (requested it months in advance) Yet the room we were in clearly had been smoked in... And they had no other rooms available. Still the staff was friendly and gave us some discount coupons to help us ease the pain lol.

Hi CrazyHorse 3 - Thanks for staying with us and for the 5 Star review. We are a 100% smoke free facility and I'm very sorry to hear that your room was not April fresh during your visit. Glad to hear we were able to ease the pain a bit and that you enjoyed your time at The Tuscan Hotel....

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in August 2014 having enjoyed our stay here five years ago. Now I understand that this is peak season in San Francisco but really for $600 per night I did expect a higher degree of comfort than we were offered. The staff were great, the wine tasting was also most enjoyable...

Hi Bronson137 - Thanks for staying with us again after a 5 year absence. I'm very sorry to hear that your experience failed to meet your expectations and that your previous stay was more delightful than your most recent stay. I do apologize for the condition of the blanket; our bedding should be in beautiful condition and anything less should...

From arrival to check out, it was fantastic! Marty greeted us when we pulled up in our car and helped make the stress of driving in a strange place just disappear. He was awesome! The location couldn't be better. Clean room and more spacious than what we were expecting. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even provided us...

If you want to play tourist in San Francisco and locate by Fisherman's Wharf the Tuscan is a great place to stay. It is walking distance from the cable cars, and all of the sights between Ghirardelli Square and Pier 39. The staff is great- friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the evening wine tasting before heading out to dinner each day.

My sister and I stayed at the Best Western Plus The Tuscan one night on the way of moving her to California. It was a perfect location for us doing some quick site-seeing. It is a short walk from the Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, and the Cable Cars. My only complaints about the hotel are a lack of an exercise...

Hi Jacob T - Thanks for staying with us and for the kind words. Glad to hear that you and your sister enjoyed the hotel and I hope the move to California was smooth! Parking is expensive at the hotel and around the wharf, I suggest not even bring a car to the city unless absolutely necessary. SF public transportation...

I was travelling to San Francisco on business and - like I always try to do when flying 11 hours somewhere - I flew out a day early and stayed a night on my own dime. Our business hotel was in Downtown/Union Square, so I wanted to stay somewhere else, somewhere more touristy. Fisherman's Wharf was the obvious place and,...

Convenient location for one being a tourist. Overall the hotel needs a update especially in the hallways. The rooms are smaller then what I expected from reading the other reviews. Average room with two queen size beds. Bedding was nice with white comforters. Room appeared very clean.

This hotel is wonderful! Cheep and cheerful! We arrived and were checked in straight away, no messing around... The rooms are spacious and as we are traveling the west coast?
