This is a beautiful hotel with a great location, the rooms are super clean and modern. The staff was amazing so careful at the details. They made our stay so remarkable! It was a great experience and will definitely go back!
I understand this is one of the few hotels that are open in SF during COVID and we need to be thankful for that. However, of the several hotels I have been to during COVID, the St. Regis has to be the one that has worst adapted to it. We are talking about a 5 star hotel that has absolutely no coffee... anywhere in the property! Not in the rooms, not in reception, not in a cafeteria! Much cheaper hotels in SF not only have coffee, but offer in-room dining menu. The St. Regis gives you a list of restaurants nearby that offer Doordash. You gotta be kidding me. Obviously, all other hotel amenities like the swimming pool, gym, or bar are closed. So, you might as well rent an Airbnb. Anyways, I have been to the St. Regis before, and I know it is usually a fantastic hotel, but do yourself a favor and avoid it during COVID times. Hopefully it will see better times sometime soon, in the meantime safe yourself some money and look for some of the smaller boutique hotels that still have a reasonable level of service.…
There were great restaurants near the hotel that had outdoor seating! Even during the Covid pandemic The valets, bellmen and front desk were as expected, outstanding. We ordered breakfast 2 mornings and the room service staff was excellent, although eating out of take out cartons was unexpected but appropriate bc of the pandemic. The raspberries in my fruit cup which accompanied my omelette was rotten and they removed the omelette from my bill. There were some mistakes on my bill but the front desk took care of it promptly after we spoke when I got home. We had a spacious room on the 20th floor! Lovely! Overall great stay, beautiful hotel
We spent 3 nights at the St Regis in San Francisco , but would not return. The hotel is 1 block away from the massive SF Convention center and was packed when we arrived with conventioneers...loud and intoxicated 2 of the 3 nights we were there. The lunch and breakfast was decent if a bit limited. The service at the restaurant was very good, but on the street level and the 3 breakfast and lunch we had there was uncomfortable with the homeless watching as you eat every bite. We had a butler that came with the room and he was very attentive. The Four Seasons is 1 1/2 block away and much better location, rooms, and food quality without the terribly noisy small lobby. The hotel had a small gym, but again the 4 Seasons Hotel close bye had a great gym. We will stay at the Four Seasons next time in SF.…
We were very impressed by our stay at the St. Regis a few years back. Our room was fantastic. The hotel is perfectly situated, breakfast was excellent. Very friendly and helpful front desk guest. St. Regis never disappoints me . I've also stayed at some other St. Regis properties before. St. Regis Toronto is my top favourite, ST. Regis New York comes second, this is the third. Hope to return one day, maybe you wil be my top favourite by then
