Very good little Inn in the middle of the Marina district, along with a bus route that connects to most tourist destinations. There is a nice continental breakfast in the morning – along with a well-stocked Keurig coffee maker.

Seaside Inn is a competitively priced accommodation located conveniently for transport links, and easy walking distance to Fort Mason/Marina/Presidio area. The Hotel rooms are clean and well furnished with handy facilities and comfortable beds, although rooms are a little on the small size if more than 2 people sharing. Like many wooden built properties noise insulation could be better so...

we had a lovely time there, the cozy rooms are clean, updated and comfy. the staff is lovely. it's walking distance to fisherman's wharf, the palace of fine arts and ft. mason. we used the hop-on bus to get around the city. its a fun though long ride and being in an open double-decker bus in sf on a sunny...

Really clean and comfortable bed. The location is really nice. 15/20 minutes by walk from the peers. The breakfast is simple, no space to eat but you take it in your room. on top of that few parking places available, you cannot reserve it. And Yogi at the reception is adorable, friendly and helpful.

Definitely recommend. Perfect location, you can walk everywhere you want to go and the big bus stop isn't too far up Lombard. We received awesome service, they were always happy to help with booking taxis and little things like making sure we ate breakfast before our big days. The room was clean and tidy, it had quite a good little...

Beds are so comfy. Rooms are clean and breakfast is served in the reception area. Pastries, fruit and tea coffee and juice available. You take it back to your room to consume. The motel is on a very busy road and the noise travels through the doors. Take ear plugs and you will sleep fine. There are some restaurants nearby,...

I found the bed to be awesome and it was very clean. It is very convenient location. Walking distance from shops and gas stations. We left our cell phone and netbook behind. The host reached out to us numerous times to remind us that we left these items behind. The lady was very kind and helpful in making recommendations.

Spent 6 nites. Ou room was sparkling clean and smelled fresh. The front desk person went beyond the call as since I cannot walok steps, she even walked the steps once to get me a bucket of ice The breakfast is adequate with fruit, juices, coffees and tea. The sweetrolls are pre-packaged but very tasty. I'd use this place any...

Hotel is very comfortable. Really clean. Fab location. Breakfast is just fruit and pastries but perfectly acceptable. Yogi seems to do everything from front desk to servicing the rooms. Such a lovely helpful lady. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Our first stop on our California road trip was San Francisco and we stayed at the Sea side inn. We had a king size bed in our room that was super comfortable, we slept late and soundly. There is off street free parking which was unexpected and much appreciated. Yogi the owner was friendly, there a very nice continental breakfast...

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
