For those who have not been to San Francisco in the past few years, it has become prohibitively expensive. This little guest house, which is not far from 9th street Bart and Muni transit stations is easy to get to and costs very little in...More
Stayed here in May 2016. I felt very unsafe walking around directly outside hostel. The bathrooms were unclean and staff not friendly or helpful. Bedroom was very cramped. Would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

The bunk beds were dirty and extremely unsafe to use and were duck...More
A good hostel should be a friendly, welcoming, clean environment to which explore a new city. Sadly AAE SF is none of these! It is dirty, dated and lacks any sort of charm. We were in a dorm room of 4 which was tiny, cramped...More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
