This small Inn is really clean. Large rooms great bathroom. Nice B&B style breakfast. Friendly staff. A bit far away from downtown , if you like walking but it has great public transport close by (out the door) and uber if quick and cheap. Nothing but praise for this little spot, one small point is that they have limited hours...

Perfect situated in the middle of the city. Nice friendly personnel. Big rooms with clean bathroom, but in need of refurbishment. Does not live up to my expectations for the cost of the room. Breakfast is also just almost.

A colleague and myself stayed for a business trip in San Francisco and added a couple of days of vacation. We choose The Grove Inn over the weekend and it was a good choice. Very nice people around, large room (with everything you need) and a good breakfast. It wasn't luxurious but clean, nice and as expected. Bed & Breakfast...

Nice people; decent cold breakfast; very good beds; fine shower; spacious, airy room. On a somewhat busy intersection with road noise - we had a corner room on the first floor. Was not an issue for us.

Lovely home in a quiet and historical location. Fantastic breakfast every morning, lovely neighborhood, literally steps away from Alamo Square and the Painted Ladies. Restaurant across the street Alamo Seafood Grill was excellent. The Inn is right in front of a bus stop for the Fillmore Line #22 that takes you straight up to Marina District and Fisherman's Wharf, a...

Staff was very helpful with sightseeing and restaurant suggestions. Breakfasts were delicious - wonderful bread! Room and bed were very comfortable. Great area with good restaurants in walking distance. Street parking was surprisingly easy to find.

Cute old Victorian building. Very quiet and comfortable. Easily found street parking for the night. It becomes 2 hour parking in the day. Centrally located in the city, easy to get around. Room was clean and very comfortable. Free WiFi which worked well. GREAT VALUE for the price. Would definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed at The Grove Inn because it was located near our son's apartment in the city. We immediately felt at home because the staff, especially Zabrina, went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. We had a suite, which was very spacious and could have accommodated a small family. The decor was simple, modern and fresh...

My husband, baby and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was fairly small but very clean and with all the amenities you would need. Only downside was the sink is in the room, separate to the bathroom. Shower was good. We had a room with bay windows - it was a little noisy as the buses stop right...

Dear Emily, Thank you for your kind review! We understand your note on the street noise; During our recent remodeling, we installed double-pane glass in all windows, and for light sleepers, we include amenities such as ear plugs in all our rooms. Sincerely, The Grove Inn

The Grove Inn is in a quaint residential neighborhood within a walkable distance to dinning and entertainment. The rooms are refreshingly simple yet with all the amenities a traveler needs (tv, hairdryer, complimentary ear plugs and shower caps). The continental breakfast was a welcomed break from salty, greasy restaurant fair (fresh bread, hard boiled eggs, cheese, granola, fruit, etc). The...
