This hotel is in a good location and the front staff were very friendly however the housekeeping service was horrendous. The room was not cleaned at all on one of our 6 nights and during the week there were many lapses. Dirty glasses were not removed and replaced, towels were not replaced, hair was on the bathroom floor and the...

Super hotel within easy reach of Union Square and all its shops and restaurants. The rooms were a good size and well appointed, big spacious bathroom with nice clean towels and good quality toiletries. The alarm clock was also an I pod and MP3 player dock, nice to listen to your own music while ironing your clothes (iron and ironing...

Stayed at Adagio for convention (VMWorld) in August of 2014. Very nice hotel. Spacious and clean rooms. Good service. Workout room is one of the better I have had. 3 treadmills, 2 bikes, 2 elliptical machines. Dumbells through 50 lbs. 2 adjustable benches. 1 multi-purpose machine with chin-up bar.

I was at Hotel Adagio for one night. I was greeted warmly and had a quick check in. The Room: room was big enough for a downtown San Fran hotel. I did get an upgrade to a king room! It was clean, quiet - on upper floor, and had a good view. The Hotel: Had a nice decor. One elevator...

Thanks Matt S for the 4-star review! I’m very glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us – we’re always looking to improve. Elevator was down due to the earthquake aftershocks – we fixed this with our elevator company as quickly as we could. I will make sure to take the other comments to our team and make...

Excellently situated 5 minutes walk from Union Square. We had requested a room adapted for the disabled and this was ideal being very spacious with a large bathroom/wet room which would have even been suitable for wheelchair users. The entry system was also adapted for wheelchair users. Wi-fi was extra anywhere other than the lobby and was slow with a...

I thought the rooms were actually pretty decent considering in San Francisco, that does not tend to be the standard. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping. The minor things that occurred was I paid for wireless internet which was soooo slow that I switched to using my mobile hotspot. There was no room...

Thank you emptyvoices for the nice review! We are looking to upgrade and add to our internet bandwidth, as such we’ll see a decrease in this issue – as if we have a lot of people on at once, sometimes the floor itself needs to be reset. As always, if you need anything – as minor as they may seem,...

The hotel had great character, the rooms were nice, wonderful staff all in downtown San Francisco. The bar staff was really good and the food was well above average. The only thing I didn"t like was there was not phone on the desk for work. For most people this wouldn't be a big deal. would definitely stay at this property...

We stayed for just one night and had only two days to sightsee, but the Adagio was just a couple of blocks from the trolley line, and a $12 cab ride from Fisherman's Wharf. It's also just around the corner from a fabulous reservation-only"speakeasy" bar--Wilson & Wilson (inside Bourbon and Branch). Staff was friendly, but several were still in training...

The homeless problem is in the whole of SF especially near touristy spots like Union Square. So its pretty cheap compared to other options around. The room was always cleaned up and tidy and had the home feeling unlike the usual business decor. The chef saw me everyday so did the granola yogurt thing which I was reluctant to try...
