Rooms are not huge but clean and the hotel amenities make it a pleasant stay. Location is excellent for both downtown business and leisure. Close to many restaurants. Try Cafe Prague behind the hotel. Good value hotel.

It's a nice room - the only bad thing wasn't your fault - we were wakened most morning by protesters with megaphones across the street. The coffee was awesome, the granola bars and filtered water that we could carry while walking around the city was great. All the people here are friendly and answered any questions we had with a...

I was really thinking we would get there and have this tiny room. Hearing all of the stories of rooms in the city. Our room which was a suite, was very nice with a 2 burner cook top, microwave, pod coffee maker, sitting area with a desk, queen bed, storage. We also had a corner room that had a small...

In the center on the financial district, a stones throw to Chinatown and the Wharf. Excellent service and friendliest staff! Cable car from California St run across Nob Hill to Van Ness is a must. Coffee/ expression/ cappuccino maker in the business center and hotel lobby. Keurig coffeemaker in room. What more can you ask for.

I love everything about Club Quarters no matter what city I am in! This particular one is top notch with its San Frantastic location! If you go for luxury and big rooms, this is not for you. CQ is almost like a Euro hotel in the sense that the rooms are simple and small, but water stations are located on...

Less than 10 minutes walk to the Bart station, so very convenient if you're coming from the airport. Safeway supermarket and Chinatown also a few minutes walk which is also very useful. Staff were very friendly and helpful - my initial room had no fridge and was changed with the minimum of fuss and a smile. They were also helpful...

As I was checking in with my teenage daughter, I realized that the room I reserved only had one bed. Liz at the registration desk nearby overheard and stepped in to assist. Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
