My wife and I stayed at Ocean Beach Bed and Breakfast for 7 days in June, 2016. We enjoyed the Ocean View Suite (fabulous wide view of the Pacific and 2 Golden Gate Park windmills from both rooms). We agree with all the positives written to date including: clean and quiet accommodations, comfortable bed, and safe locale. We looked forward...

My sister and I stayed here for 5 nights last month. The set-up and location were perfect for our purposes. The sitting room is a great neutral but private space. In there over a glass of wine before heading off to our rooms, we were able to chat about the day we'd had and what we'd be doing the next...

Ocean Beach Bed and Breakfast is owned and managed by Joanne Landon. Joanne is a superb hostess. The breakfast each morning was wide-ranging, plentiful and delighted our tastebuds. My husband fell in love with the egg cooker! Everything about our stay was excellent. Luxurious, clean bedding, fresh flowers, attention to detail at every level. Beautiful Victorian pieces, yet comfortable and...

My spouse and I spent six nights here earlier this month (Sept. 2015) and we were totally delighted with our experience. Ocean Beach Bed & Breakfast is owned and managed by Joanne Landon. We occupied a two-room suite with a private bath. The place is spotlessly clean, the beds were wonderful, and we had a panoramic view of Ocean Beach,...

I stayed at Ocean Beach Bed and Breakfast during a three week trip to the Bay Area, Portland, Seattle, Victoria and Vancouver. I went to law school and lived in the Bay Area and worked in San Francisco in the late 1980s (I'm a native of Los Angeles) and wish I had never left. I truly left my heart in...

My daughter and I visited Ocean Beach Bed and Breakfast in September of 2014. Joanne was an excellent hostess and her cookies are scrumptious. Our room was lovely and the living room and kitchen quite comfy. It was a reasonable walk to the beach which we enjoyed each day of our stay. Joanne was willing to sit and discuss the...

We had a lovely two room suite with private bath, the bed was super comfortable with quality bedding. There was a bay window sitting area where you could sit and watch the ocean waves and people on the beach. One down side was attempting to find a parking spot, sometimes a block or so away. There was a continual breakfast...

We had the Ocean View Suite with en-suite bathroom. Our room as well as all shared rooms (kitchen, living room and dining room) were very clean, cosily furnished and did provide all necessary amenities. Upon arrival, Joanne gave us a warm welcome and was always available in case we had any questions or required recommendations e.g. for dinner. The breakfast...

This was my 1st time on the West Coast... and my 1st stop in SF ! As I travel on my own this time, I looked for a place where I would feel "at home" - Even though the Ocean Beach Bnb was 20-30 minutes from Downtown, I chose it for its unique view on the Pacif ... and ended...

“The bedroom is quite fine while if the suite is available, I would rent the suite. It has a view of the ocean and a private ensuite while the bedroom you have to out of your room to use the washroom which really is no problem but given the choice I would choose the suite. The location was perfect for beach walking and the downtown was about 30-40 mins away by bus so an easy trip down. Great overall time here with Joanne. I am looking at California in 2016 and hoping to stay with Joanne once again!”

“The suite with the private bath is worth the extra cost. The bonus is the wonderful view of the beach and a comfortable sitting room, which, with the fold-out couch-bed, could be used for two more guests in your party.”
