Very nice historic inn, left the character of the army base while updating everything for maximum comfort. Area has lots of interesting places to see, some within walking distance. Ample and cheap parking (for San Francisco).

I've had the pleasure of staying here on many occasions, both for business and pleasure. I think it offers a great value when compared to similar properties downtown when you consider that the room rate includes complimentary wine/cheese in the evening and a nice continental breakfast in morning, and the parking fee is a bargain. Rooms are very pleasant and...

We loved staying up in the Presidio, out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful trees and views of the Golden Gate Bridge. The Presidio is beautiful and quiet, great for history and taking time to enjoy the scenery. The only complaint is that the beds were soft.

We decided to stay at Inn at the Presidio at the end of our trip to San Fransisco to experience something different (3 nights in October). We had read a lot about the Inn and it’s history and thought it would be great location to be able to explore the park and it’s surroundings (Baker Beach, Lands End). The Inn...

Lovely old rooms with modern amenities but bring your own pillows! Also, be forewarned that there is no elevator so if you are on the 2nd floor you have to carry your luggage upstairs. But the breakfast was very nice and the afternoon wine and cheese was also enjoyable, with good wine.

It takes multiple days to see the Presidio and do it justice. The Inn at the Presidio is an historic building which is a great place to stay. One can walk out the door to any number of adventures. My wife and I did not move the car during our stay.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Presidio Inn. Not only was the inn set in a beautiful location, but it was conveniently located near downtown. The staff were friendly and eager to serve. The breakfast spread was first class. Not only was the food delicious, the breakfast room was beautiful and the attending staff were very efficient...

Lovely place, with nice antique furniture and modern amenities. Would return if had business on or near the Presidio. Wireless internet and cellular service a bit spotty, maybe a function of its location on a mountain. Quiet and introspective. Good place for a retreat/renewal.

Take a step back into the historic past of the Presidio by staying in this extraordinarily spacious and comfortable inn. These were once the 'bachelors' quarters' and the provide a sense of the grandeur and splendor of the past. Rooms, for the most part, are suites with large living room, separate bedroom and bathroom. Wonderful furnishings and a very comfortable...
