We stayed here looking to explore this area of San Francisco more. We were wanting to avoid crowds of tourists and more nature in the city. We were not disappointed. The location was absolutely perfect and quiet. Only downside is that when your room is in the main inn, you can hear the rumbling in the kitchen through the back...

My dad was stationed at the Presidio many years ago and we lived on the base. When we read that the Presidio Trust had renovated the buildings I wanted to return to relive some childhood memories. It was a lovely couple of days staying in my former childhood haunt.

My husband and I stayed here on our recent trip to the city after having seen it during a previous bus tour of the city. It just seemed so relaxed and quiet that it spoke to me. I have to say we had the loveliest time. It almost felt like we were staying with friends. Everything is perfect, from the...

Favorite place to stay in SF, Lots of amenities: breakfast, wine & cheese, walking/hiking around the property or to the GG Bridge + feels like you are far away from crowds, but can be anywhere in SF in minutes.

Perfect, quiet but so close to everything. The staff is spot on from top to bottom. The rooms are spacious and decorated with so many past memories. The breakfast and evening wine and cheese make you feel like you are in Europe.

fantastic location in heart of Presidio. sensitively done (LEED platinum) remodel which honors military BOQ (Bachelor's Office Quarter) heritage yet offers all the modern luxury. Nice breakfasts. Fire pit + wine and cheese in evenings offer very nice environment and opportunities to meet interesting paper. some great restaurants and trails in local area, one page handouts about walkable opportunities for...

Love the cozy atmosphere of this hotel. They offer an excellent wine and cheese service at the end of the afternoon and a great breakfast. We love the location in the Presidio park, near the Golden Gate Bridge.

Location is fantastic. Property is beautiful. The man at the front desk was rude and unhelpful, setting a terrible tone in the lounge and breakfast area which made guests decide they weren't welcome and needed to spend time elsewhere. Not the experience you expect for $500/night.

My brother and fiancée booked all of our out of town family at the hotel. The hotel offers wine and cheese at 5 pm which we enjoyed before walking to the restaurant a few doors down for a family dinner. The hotel room was very spacious and clean. My only complaint is there was no air conditioner. The weather was...
