On the way to cross over the Golden Gate Bridge there are signs directing us to the Presidio. We have always passed these signs while promising ourselves that we must drop by The Presidio for a visit. On a July weekend we had a Sunday morning festivity to attend at a nearby venue and we decided to not only stop...

This was one of my favorite places to stay, ever! Love the atmosphere, views, trees, location, and trip back in time. Very relaxing. It was a memory of a lifetime. Would love to go back some day, but it's expensive. Good for a special event such as a milestone anniversary. You will either love or hate staying on the quiet...

I love staying in National Parks when I can. This location is very special and the Inn is quite nice. The continental breakfast could be enhanced slightly. The wine and cheese in the afternoon is lovely

Only complaint was our room faced the parking lot and had a ramp right next to it. Could hear noise from outside. Walls seemed thin. Everything else was great. Wine and cheese really sealed the deal for us

I love the inn. Great location. Easy bike ride to Golden Gate. The inn has great staff and a nice wine and cheese reception. I also like how close the parking lot is. Easy in and out. Wish it was more affordable.

Location away from the city is perfect, yet still close enough to the GG Bridge and back doors access to trails. Incredibly quiet area and hotel environment. Loved free breakfast and evening wine. The red blend, The Pessimist, was truly outstanding. My only issue was that the Windows in my room didn't have screens and one window didn't lock because...

Excellent location. Great blending of history and modern amenities. Wonderful views, friendly staff. We stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn't have been more pleased. Proximity to the rest of the Presidio a big plus.

This inn is so beautiful- I wish we could afford to stay here every time! Almost all the staff was friendly and very helpful! The woman checking us in was new and unfamiliar with the rooms- she directed us behind her, saying we needed to go to the next building (only trees where she indicated) and we were on the...

Had a very enjoyable 2 night stay in a National Park! Have never stayed in the Presidio. The vintage brick building has a masculine military feel. Rooms are large with calm furnishing that let the beauty of bay and ground shine!
