Stayed here right before Thanksgiving and loved the rooms, ambiance in the lobby, and friendly staff. Only downside to this location is there's no kid-friendly pool on premises- you have to use the Marriott pool around the block and its a pain to get to. Otherwise great for adults. Love being so central to shopping and dining on Market Street.

A big fan of 5 star hotels, but this hotel is on market, not the best location for tourisrs, since market start had the most homeless, and not good area in general, especially if you like you get dressed up, wear your couture, etc. Not safe unless you take taxi, or car service everywhere. You may like to be in...

I had a short business trip and normally dont pick four seasons. I am glad my reservation system brought this hotel up for me. The welcome culture of the hotel is very comforting from checkin to checkout. The bar had good vibe all across and room was very luxurious. I would come back if I have a chance. The room...

lovely audience in the hotel, which is important considering the fact that it is located in the middle of the busy city. an amazing equinox gym, and spa. incredible location, with a walking distance to everything. still recommend a lot.

Having not stayed here in years, I went back and was so glad to see that the level of service is fantastic. Cant beat the location and the Concierge had calls into the tough to get into restaurants. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The rooms are well appointed and have spacious bathrooms. My room wasn't ready at check-in, so I dropped off my bags. When I returned that afternoon , they had already taken my bags to my room, which I appreciated. My only complaint would be that the hotel is so large that you have to...

You can't beat the proximity to all the great shopping- Union Square is blocks away (Barneys, Neimans, Saks etc). The staff here is fantastic- we spent 4 days at the hotel during our honeymoon trip. Arrived and room was great- bottle of champagne and special dessert from the concierge. It was much appreciated- all those details count at a property...

This was my fourth visit to the Four Seasons SF. Like my previous three, this recent visit was fantastic. I arrived at the hotel early. Even though my particular room wasn't ready yet, they offered a smoking room, which I declined. When my room was ready, the front desk called to let me know. When I finally got to my...

I booked the room for my family 3 nights stay in San Francisco. My room on the high floor with view directly to Market Street, which was very nice. The staffs was very friendly and efficient. The room was spacious, quiet and really comfy bed and pillows too. Excellent breakfast, the restaurant menu is also quite extensive. We would definitely...

Every thing you'd expect from a Four Seasons hotel. It's expensive, but the rooms, the facilities, and, most importantly, the service are true value for your dollar. The hotel is in the middle of the business, shopping, and restaurant hubs of the city.

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
