Stayed at this hotel together with a friend in May 2013. Pros: Location is great, close to Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39 and one of the cable-cars. Staff was very nice. Our room was of good size, so was the bathroom. No view, but we decided to have a room that was ready at 12 o´clock, and could have waited a...

Dear Nordkvinnen, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We're sorry you were not satisfied with the internet connection. I recently completed a four day visit to the Bay area and returned to the HIE at Fisherman's Wharf. I've stayed there before, on two previous occasions, and I'm happy to say that the level of service was as good as it's always been and it is strategically located within a half-mile or so of Pier 39. The breakfast was...

We were welcomed very warmly partly because Brandy, the wonderful desk staff was there. She gave us two cold bottles of water, and was genuinely smiley and very positive. The room had a far bay view and a far view of Alcatraz island, so they honored our request as well. The room was small (mini suit), but we pulled the...

Great hotel, complimentary breakfast was a good not brilliant but enough to fill you till lunch. (Although some people thought it below them to put the paper cups and plates they had used in the bins provided) rooms were clean and spacious but we didn't have any sort of view. And the carpet in the hallways was very busy reminded...

We were given a lovely room on the fourth floor of the main building overlooking the courtyard. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable and we had no problems whatsoever with noise. The hotel is in an ideal situation, walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 and trolley buses and cable cars are only a...

This hotel was picked because of it's location but suprised us in more than one way. Everything except the valet parking fee was a positive experience. They even have a complimentary breakfast. Would stay again.

Let me start by saying I really didn't "choose" this hotel. I bought the "3 star" option on Priceline and it gives you 5 possible hotels that you will be staying in and they tell you which one after you pay. I was not disappointed. The proximity to Fishermans Wharf was good; 2 blocks away. The cable car connection was...

Very good location, clean, and affordable. It's secured like Fort Knox so if you don't have a key, or leave your key, you are in for a bad time lol The Denny's downstairs was awesome when you get in from a long night.

We have just come back from staying at the holiday inn express in fishermans wharf. The plus is the location, cleanliness and friendly helpful staff. The breakfast is nothing other than a bun fight with very mediocre food not worth the hassle. Paper plates and plastic knives and forks did not help. Unless they improve the set up and food...

This hotel is located one block from the Wharf. There are actually 3 Holiday Inn's pretty close to each other. This was the perfect spot. When we checked in since I belong to the priority club we got a bottle of water for each of us and the newspaper delivered to our room each day (during the week only). Felt...
