You get what you see in their advertisement. As per SFO standards, it’s cheap, but if you compare with the rest of the US locations, you feel $100 - $130, its expensive. We stayed here for a night and used the room only for sleeping at night. Room was cramped but clean, mattress was OK. You have to use shared...

Cheap and easy accomodation in a good location for the pier. As a couple we arrived late, slept and left early before exploring the city by foot. Cheap and cheerful place to stay. Don't expect luxury. Wouldn't stay here on my own.

The good: Very nicely located near the Transamerica Building in Chinatown with plenty of good restaurants around. SF hotels are very expensive so anything under $100 a night is alluring. It can be easily reached by taking the #8 bus. The Suck: The whole place stinks of oldness, there are not enough bathrooms (especially in the mornings), you can hear...

On our road trip in the US is this the most expensive hotell of all hotels we are staying at, except the one we are staying at in NY and definitely the worst. You get less than you pay for. We got a tiny tiny room, with a tiny bed (queen size for two) Luckily we are not very big...

I was held on hold 8 times but when front desk picked up phone 3 times, they just yelled at me wow. First lady picked up the phone I said I would like to confirm my reservation she asked me which hotel. I was confused and thought maybe I called to wrong hotel. I said your hotel "North Beach Hotel"....

Since we only use hotels to sleep in, this place was perfect for us. Location was perfect for where we wanted to be: a block away from Little Italy and China Town and Peir 39. We didn't mind the shared bathrooms (as long as they were clean).

Good location and good price. Bad smell. The first thing we did was go out and buy a glade plug in and Clorox wipes. No air movement in room and a very bad smell. We were suppose to stay 5 night but left after 2.

So we all know: San Francisco Is expensive. And for Around 100 per night this was absolutely the best choice I could have picked up. Hotel Is average, there's some funny smell And rooms aré tiny as hell BUT the location was sheer perfection: safe, always alive And Great places to eat Around. If You only want an económic place...

Yes, the rooms are small. Yes, some of the bathrooms are dirty. Yes, the streets are loud and noisy, but I am more than happy with my stay!!!! Staff was super friendly and easy going. If the bathroom was dirty, it is because it was recently used so I went down the hall to the next one. Never had a...

The hotel doesn't have car parking and so we had to park our car in a expensive parking lot.. the only positive thing in the room was the fridge. Very noisy Street.windows didn't have good curtains. Shower and toilets on the hallway.i wouldn't recommend this hotel.the only thing nice is the location

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands, tourist shops, jewelry stores, fortune tellers, temples and restaurants come together to create a world unto itself in this historic neighbourhood.
