We stayed for a mere three nights at the end of February. The place is an old-style, low-rise motel in the heart of the city. Transients hang-out in the parking lot, and one showed up at our door after we checked-into our room (he said...More
There needs to be a better place than this to stay or just don't go to San Francisco. Not clean, stains, no ammentities. They put a coffee maker in the room but, no filter or plug around to plug it in to. Sliding bathroom door...More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
We are staying at Travelodge San Fran central in August. On our last day in San Fran, we are visiting Alcatraz and then picking up a car before travelling down the coast. We were hoping to be able to store our bags at the hotel before picking up the car (2pm). Is this something you can accommodate?
