The neighborhood was dangerous. We had a hard time sleeping it was very loud because of the bar close by and the sirens going off several times. The bed was bad ,the wifi didn't work, the elevator broke down 4 times, and are tv wasn't working right.

Quaint, romantic bed and breakfast a short (uphill) walk from Union Square. The young gentleman at the front desk was always polite and accommodating and the other staff were gracious as well. We had a 5th floor queen room. The room was small but lovely. Yes! There is city noise ... Lots of it! I grew up local to NYC...

This is a nice little bed and breakfast, in a great location on Bush St, very close to the central attractions in San Francisco. About 5 mins from Powell St, 10 mins from Chinatown, 10 mins from Union Square (all time on foot). You could even walk down to the Embarcadero in around 20 mins. The hotel is nicely decorated...

I miss this hotel already..we visited on a thanksgiving long weekend. This is a cute little boutique hotel that you will fall inlove with. I love the european style and design. Most of all, the complimentary breakfast and cookies in a jar everyday oh the wine everynight! Theyre so yummy! The location is very convenient with lots of restaurants close...

This charming, quaint bed and breakfast was more than we expected. It was so beautiful! The staff was super-friendly and helpful. The decor was beautiful and welcoming. Our room was tiny, but that was OK. Next time we will get a bigger one! The breakfast was home made and delicious. Yes, there is city noise, because the hotel is ......

Lovely , homey bed and breakfast in great central location. Staff , especially, Leon , very kind and accommodating. Wonderful, healthy breakfast in cozy room. Sit outside in garden! Afternoon wine and snacks were a great way to meet other travelers. Rooms were decorated beautifully with gas fireplace. Bed a bit soft, but comfy pillow and blanket. Definitely recommend!!

The Petite Auberge sits comfortably in the French Quarter of San Francisco just a 10 minute walk from Union Square. We stayed in the Petite Suite which has its own gated entrance and courtyard at ground level. Breakfasts were adequate rather than exceptional. While the room was decorated attractively, the downside for us was the constant 24-hour hum of an...

If you've moved into the guest room of your doddering eighty-five year old aunt's nineteen-thirties apartment you'll get an idea of your stay at Petite Auberge. Pros: Bed was comfortable Shades allowed little light into the room Neutral: Staff - The lesser staff (maids/workers) were genial and helpful. Room prices have increased so dramatically that it is hard to determine value. Though I made reservations about six months in advance, at a bit under $300 per night, I saw this room listed on many occasions for substantially more. Shower was less than 3' x 3', uncomfortable for me at 5"8" and 160 lbs. My head hit the shower...
