Comfortable little hotel that feels like I wish my own house felt, in the heart of all that is downtown San Francisco; minutes from almost anywhere in the City. Nice little breakfast served downstairs every morning, too.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable small hotel that makes you feel as if you're staying at a friend's house. Great breakfast, 24 hours water, tea, coffee and cookies. Great wine and snacks - they did not cut corners on food/water. Free wifi. Great that they had a noise machine to cut out the city and room noise.

This is a funky, quaint place in a fun neighborhood, easy walking distance to Chinatown. Uber found me there always within 3 minutes of requesting a ride. The windows open and the bathtub has plenty of hot water. I stayed in a room with a fireplace and it was a nice touch. Everything was well maintained and even though the...

We stayed here for 4 nights in February. We had a front room on the third floor. The room was spacious & nice the only draw back was the noise from above. We were advised when we checked in that as it was an old building that we should be considerate of others when moving about the room. Not a...

Convenient location in the Union Square area with easy access to restaurants, cable car, public transportation, etc. Room was clean and comfortable, and the added amenities (breakfast and drinks are a nice benefit). The only thing missing was a desk in the room in order to work on my laptop.

Nice wine reception with food in evening and full breakfast. Good value for SF. Easy walk to public transport and site seeing. Can't beat location near Union Square and theater district. Feels like a B&B

Great location, good and helpful staff, fireplace was really cool in the room! Internet was pretty fast. Really nice retro place. Breakfast was ok but not great. Free drinks 24/7 is great! Location is really good - walk distance to piers, cable car is 2 mins walk, Union Square is 5 mins walk.

Such a cute place. Reminded us of a European bed and breakfast. The bonus was the unique, very old elevator - a treat! Delicious breakfast and generous extras too - wine and appetizers in the evening, cookies and soft drinks and water available in a 'help yourself' refrigerator. We'll be back!

They have wonderful pictures on site but the rooms were old, bed uncomfortable, cold, bathroom full of mould. No full time reception. Completely unacceptable for a $450 a night place. Feels more like a $100 a night one.
