Our 5 night stay ended earlier this week. The Inn San Francisco is the BEST B and B we have stayed in in any city we have visited. The previous review is very accurate with the lovely details of the inn and the high level of service the owner and staff provided, Room 44 was large and quiet with an...

Last year's stay with Inn San Francisco was great. On my return this year, it got better. I was a guest for 10 days. It was tough getting a room in SF due to to the 'Sales Force' conference and Annual Fleet Week. So even if I had a few rooms during this stay, I didn't mind getting moved. In...

Wow! What more can we say? We are so pleased that you found our staff so welcoming and helpful during your lengthy stay. And thank you for being so patient for your many room changes while the Inn was so busy - and dealt with it so positively. Welcome back soon! Marty

This place is just wonderful. What a great sanctuary smack in the middle of the city. It is particularly great with larger groups, or when visiting people in the city because the front parlor is spacious and comfortable and a great place to spend time chatting, snacking, or having a drink. With apartments so small in SF, this is a...

We'd read the reviews leading up to our visit and read how great it was and wondered if it really could be as nice. It is!!! We stayed in room 34 for 3 nights at the end of September and we loved it. The staff are great and go out of their way to make your stay great. It's lovely...

We are thrilled you enjoyed our Inn's features! I trust our staff were interested in you and friendly, as well. While it is unfortunate that we have to charge for parking, we find we are very lucky to be able to rent our neighbors' garages (for about $1,300 per month) and thereby provide convenient spaces for our guests. Note that...

We stayed in the Inn for 2 days. This house is amazing. Its luxurious and homely all in one. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room No: 22 was beautiful. Comfortable and very well equipped. Breakfast was probably the best I have ever had in any hotel. We enjoyed ours in the beautiful garden. I cannot recommend the...

Celebrated our Anniversary there. Absolutely Wonderful. Our first trip to San Francisco and found this beautiful Bed and Breakfast after a huge disaster and disappointment at the Inn we originally booked through a B&B agency. Scrambled to fine a place to stay and phoned Inn San Francisco, they had an opening and we checked in to their Beautiful and Authentic...

I took my friends from Minnesota to visit the Bay Area and Napa Valley. Our stay was very relaxing and my friends were extremely impressed with the accommodations. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. The food and staff were incredible. My friends loved the outdoor hot tub and the evening snacks and drinks. They will coming again next year...

The Inn is one of the finest places I have stayed. The building inside and out is absolutely beautiful, with turn of the century treasures that take you back in time. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Customer service at it's best! There is nothing I could find wrong with anything at The Inn. I would make that my...

We have just spent 5 nights at this great B&B. I can only echo what other favourable reviewers have said ... Great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable spotless rooms, decent wifi. It was a real home from home so that we referred to it throughout our stay as "Marty's"! Marty greeted us on arrival (he's not always around)...

Staying in Mission District

Neighbourhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in the country.
