Be in mind that this is a budget hosting. You are not booking a five star hotel. Comfortable and spacious rooms (with fridge and a sink). The rooms are cleaned daily. It does not have air conditioning (in summer it can be a problem). The hotel has received several packages for me without any charge (thanks for that, guys!). The...

Overall I had a good experience and I have stayed here several times before. This time however the staff treated me as if I was trying to scam them out of $1. It was incredibly rude and disrespectful and made me very uncomfortable. Because of this experience I will not return again.

The staff are what made this place, that and the location. Unfortunately a few power points in our private double room didn't work which meant the fridge didn't work so our food went bad overnight and it wasn't fixed throughout our four night stay. On the first night our television was working but from the second day onward the television...

Too expensive for what it offers. Not enough restrooms, beds are uncomfortable and we had some sort of rodent nibbling at our food. Location is great and staff is helpful. For $130 dollars a night for a private twin room I would expect much more

Cold and damp room. Cool shower. Poor Wi-Fi. Dryer did not dry clothes. Nice towels. Mostly Friendly staff. Okay neighborhood. Within walking distance to many attractions. If you like music (playing or hearing it muffled) it's a option.

Our stay at this hotel was like diving into the literary and artistic side of San Francisco. I would suggest staying here to anyone who wants to see the soul of this city. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. We stayed in a junior suite and the music studio didn't bother us at all.

This overpriced hotel was a very bad experience. Our room was recently redone but lacked of comfort and minimal standards (no heating nor A/C, smelly and noisy rooms). The bed was very springy, the bathroom/toilet at the end of the hall was dirty and mice or rats were running around in our room during the night and ate part of...
