Booked a one night stay. I loved how they had everything to make my stay cozy and extra blanket in the closet, a fan and complementary toiletries in our room. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again, hopefully longer next time great price and location.

It was a delight to check in here for the 3rd time within two years. Handy to lots of local public transport and within walking distance of the centre of Castro, the Willows Inn nevertheless provides a quiet and cozy home away from home. The rooms are charming and very comfortable, and there is also a lovely living room in...

This B&B has been in business for several years and they do their best to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The continental breakfast (included) is very generous and offers up an assortment of fresh fruits, breads, pastries, and cereal The location is central to good public transportation, restaurants and shops.

For the second time I spent a couple of days in the Willows Inn. The staff is friendly and very attentive. I love the breakfast buffet in the kitchen, a good place to meet the other guests. They announced an aperohour in the evening, but there was nothing. The inn is very clean and the rooms are cosy and you...

Great location, a hidden gem. Don't let the shop front put you off, once you enter thru the side door you find an old world charm. The guys that operate the property are helpful and know what they are doing. The rooms are good and the breakfast s fantastic. I Highly recommend.

I stayed here for 5 nights when I was in San Francisco in October 2016. It doesn't look like much from the outside and it was quite hard to find but what a find it was. The room was small and comfortable with everything I could want. It was very hot in the city that time of year and the...

The guest house doesn't look much from the outside, but the inside is lovely and the staff are very friendly. We liked the way breakfast was served with lots of fruit and bread laid out in the kitchen which you could put on a tray and take back to your room or eat in the kitchen if you fancied a...

The Willow Inn is located just a block away from the Church St Muni station, which makes it extremely convenient for getting just about anywhere in the city. The Inn itself is comfortable, quaint, and pleasant and the staff is very friendly. Be aware that the bathrooms are all shared but there is never a wait. The breakfast spread was...

We enjoyed our stay in September very much. Excellent service, very clean and tidy, a very familiar atmosphere, nice breakfast. Good starting point for all events you want to do in Frisco. The tram stops only few steps from the accommodation. Not negative, but to say, you haven´t your own bath and restroom - you have to share it with...

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing. Between the comfortable rooms, the friendly staff, the great location, and the reasonable price, I cannot say enough great things about the Willows. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with a suggestion on where to go or what to do. Their dining recommendations were always on point. Different...

Staying in The Castro

Neighbourhood Profile
The Castro
A flourishing commercial area that acts as San Francisco's LGBT community center and cultural heart, the Castro is a neighbourhood welcome to everyone. As one of the first predominantly LGBT neighbourhoods in the United States and currently its largest, it remains one of the epicenters of activism in the nation. Grand theatres and glitzy shops now compete with bars and fashionable eateries for attention, drawing visitors from around the world to the bright rainbow flag acting as its beacon.
