My wife and I loved this place. It was nice and very regal.

The Queen Anne is located near Japantown and it is just a 10-minute-walk away from Fillmore. It took us 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to Downtown, but if you are tired of walking, you can easily catch a bus, which brings you directly to Union Square and some Bart Station. The hotel is old and the rooms are...

The Queen Anne is an old hotel decorated in 19th century style. Sherry in the afternoon, a pleasant room for breakfast, and rooms that show their age in a delightful way. The hotel is within walking distance of Japantown and has good public transportation (and a morning shuttle), but it is a bit too distant from Union Square to justify...

We were booked into this hotel for 7 nights, downstairs is really quite nice there is complementary sherry and biscuits available in the afternoon. Most of the furniture looks to be antique and it’s all very quaint. The problem is that the furniture in the room we were in was also of a similar vintage and should have been replaced...

We stayed for three nights over a weekend. The room was quite dark, and a bit musty, but okay. No bar but coffee available all day in reception. A couple of gripes. Firstly, $ 14 per day to park you car on an open plot. Secondly, the so called "de luxe breakfast" was anything but. The best thing was the...

The hotel is reasonably priced, but musty smelling. The website says that they have use of a nearby fitness center, but they are misleading potential customers. You have to pay a fee to use the fitness center. When I asked about this, the man at the front desk said ,"we don't have any relationship with a fitness center", and was...

We had a very nice stay in this hotel, The service was okay and the location was great. The hotel is very close to the Japanese district with many buses to the downtown. The room and our bed was comfortable. The only thing we did not like was a lack of pressure in the shower.

Reading fodors I had great expectations for this place. I changed my reservation to the weekend from the weekday on the phone, this ended up with my rate jumping 100%. Because I did not review in a timely manner (my fault), and a 7 day cancellation policy, I got stock with a nasty bill. When I asked clerk to change...

When we first arrived early, the desk staff was very accomodating, offering to have our room made up in 15 minutes. It took a half-hour. No problem. But things rapidly got worse. The following day, we left a tip for the maid and a thank you note. We returned around 11:30 AM for a brief stop to find that the...

This was our second multi-day visit to this hotel and we will recommend it to others and return some time in the future. We had room 406, a lovely room with triple windows and a corner view. No AC supplied or needed. The fixtures and furnishings are old but well-kept and clean. The front desk service can be spotty with...
