Had a great time at the Parker on our first trip to SF. The location is great for the bars in the Castro (which we more than took advantage of) and it's well located for transport to get downtown. The staff are so friendly and helpful, from initial enquiry through to checkout, and made it feel like a home away...

Old style bed and breakfast in Mission. May be a bit overpriced, but it is not far from Castro, well connected to public transit. Two beautiful houses, well maintained, clean, comfortable bedroom, nice breakfast, superb garden and a wonderful service.

We really enjoyed staying at the Parker guesthouse… Our room was a very nice king bed ....which was comfortable… The linens were nice and comfortable… The room was a little noisy from Street traffic… But very quiet inside the house. Our room was fairly private… Number 24… As there was not another guest room on either side of us. We...

Parker house is a charming small guesthouse. It was quiet and clean, with comfortable rooms and an above average Continental breakfast. Staff could not be nicer. For a unique and pleasant place to stay I can easily recommend the Parker House. It was my second time there.

This is a lovely place with very helpful staff. They make everything so that the guest feel comfprtable and the atmosphere is great. The breakfast served every morning is delicious and far better than the ususal american sandard.

The Parker Guest House is a nice, clean and cozy Bed & Breakfast place, situated in the Mission. The rooms are ample and the people are super friendly. Its located close to public transportation (Bart) and a 10-15 Minutes car ride from downtown. Close to the Parker you have Dolores park, to get some fresh air, and the Mission is...

The property is beautiful! It's warm and inviting, very comfortable. The room was clean well put together and all the extras you could possibly need. We had a great time meeting the other guest during the wine social and breakfast. The staff's service can not be matched, over and above is how I would describe their service.I would definitely recommend...

From the front desk staff carrying my bags up from the curb, to their guided tour of the beautiful restoration of the home, to the lovely guest rooms, to the staff's incredibly helpful attitude no matter what the request - this place has it all. The patio and yard would be a great way to wind down at the end...

Staying in The Castro

Neighbourhood Profile
The Castro
A flourishing commercial area that acts as San Francisco's LGBT community center and cultural heart, the Castro is a neighbourhood welcome to everyone. As one of the first predominantly LGBT neighbourhoods in the United States and currently its largest, it remains one of the epicenters of activism in the nation. Grand theatres and glitzy shops now compete with bars and fashionable eateries for attention, drawing visitors from around the world to the bright rainbow flag acting as its beacon.
