Sweet little hotel, very conveniently located near theaters and upscale shopping. The staff was helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed happy hour at the Farallon next door where drinks and great bar food (oysters anyone? Or beef sliders. . .) were $6 and made a meal. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. Wish SF parking wasn't so...

A wonderful hotel with an Elks Lodge on the third floor. Located just off Union Square and priced very reasonably, this is absolutely a GREAT place to stay when visiting San Francisco. The rooms are very well appointed and we found the building to be quiet. Front desk staff was very helpful.

I stayed at the Kensington Park last weekend and my stay couldn't have been better. Not only a good value, but a beautiful hotel with genuine character, lovely antique furnishings even down to the Victorian gold fixtures in the bathroom. Wonderful staff who couldn't do enough to make my stay entertaining and comfortable. There is also the wonderful Farallon seafood...

This is a boutique hotel with a beautiful foyer and updated comfortable rooms. Our room was deluxe double and large enough to comfortably fit 3 girls with lots of shopping bags! The room was extremely clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very handy to Union Square. Loved it!

My sister and I were there in October. It was a little warm for October and there is no air conditioning in the rooms so my sister was disappointed. Starbucks is nearby. That was good because the 'free coffee' offered in a closet in the hall way of one of the floors was often empty by the time we got...

The room I was originally assigned had a non-functioning heater. I came out of the room and there happened to be a hotel staff on the floor; She came in to check, and since the heater was out of order, called the front desk and immediately got me another room. Was impressed by the very fast response.

I stayed at the Kensington Park Hotel for an entire week. I asked for another room after a first night next to the elevator and was promptly moved to a more quiet room (no 64) facing the rear and with a spectacular view. The rooms are spacious but like so often overstuffed with furniture in huge dimensions. The bed was...

Spent an overnight here after Christmas. Perfect location close to Union Square. Very charming interior, dramatic gothic architecture. Staff very pleasant, from start to finish. Upgraded to city view room without having to request it. Bedroom was nicely decorated and beds were super comfy. Motel located close to the famous family restaurant, Sears, which we tried for breakfast. If you...

Well of course not, we learn to read between the lines; But, when it comes to advertising for things like hotels and what they offer I tend to expect truth. This stay was a tad bit frustrating in that the hotel advertises a car that can take you to nearby locations, only that is really not true. We tried to...
