Having reviewed the Inn in 2012, it's a pleasure to be back again, if only for a couple of nights and stay in the same room. The breakfasts are still to die for and Jan continues to offer great advice on what's on. A pre-arranged...More

Jan, our host is adorable. The Patio Room was terrific, the location is perfect. My new favorite place. I love the separate entrances and the room is absolutely silent. The breakfast sounded fabulous, but we had to leave early. Highly recommend.

I stayed in the yellow room, which was bright and cheerful. Since I have difficulty climbing stairs, my delicious breakfast was thoughtfully brought to me every morning. There was a terrycloth robe in the closet to keep me cozy after a shower, and a carafe...More

I stayed in the "red" room. Here are my thoughts: -- Fantastic location - heart of the Castro -- Incredibly friendly staff -- Cute, old-style San Francisco rooms -- When I arrived I noticed bowls of complimentary ear plugs scattered throughout the place, indicating that...More

We had a car and were able to park it a block away. You have to be aware of street cleaning days and read signs to be sure what side of street to park on.

I would like t surprise my brother at the end of August for his party. He lives in Alvarado St, Noe Valley zip code 94114. Are you close to this street. I have visited him and remember walking to Castro to catch the tram to SF.
