These suites are an amazing bargain. They are cute, too - very pleasantly furnished and cozy. Nice view of a creek in the backyard. The management is hands-off, to the extent that we had a hard time getting in touch with them before we left, butit didn't matter because everything about the rental went very smoothly. Easy walk to downtown... More

I have stayed at Acadia Suites often. It's tucked away just at the edge of town in Bar Harbor. Just outside is a little brook just beyond the patio, and just out of sight are the welcoming sounds of several ducks. The unit itself is the most relaxing place in the world that I've had the pleasure to stay and... More

My wife and I just returned from a one-week stay in Bar Harbor, in a 1BR apartment at Acadia Suites. We're giving it four stars rather than five only because this isn't truly a "luxury" property. Within that context, however, the place is pretty nearly perfect. As many others have noted, the units are spacious, comfortable and kept immaculately clean.... More

This was our first visit to this charmingly decorated, immaculate full service apartment. It is an apartment within a grouping of two buildings about a seven minute walk to the town of Bar Harbor. Parking is free and the warm hosts provide bedding and towels. Fresh towels are provided daily. The apartment has every amenity with a full kitchen, cable... More

We returned to Acadia Suites for our second visit in July (See Oct. 2009 review) and found that our second floor suite, with the beautiful view of the brook, was better than ever. Since we visited three years ago, Bob has completely renovated the bathroom with up-to-date everything, and the suite is now Wifi accessible. Other smaller upgrades were noted... More

We stayed at a 1 bedroom suite with 2 children ages 2 and 5- 4th of July weekend and everything was perfect! The units are very large and fully stocked! There is a beautiful stream in the back and all attractions of interest are 5 min away! The Jordan Pond park entrance was less than 5 min away, as were... More

Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment that was supplied with everything anyone could need ( I found a couple of things I didn't know I needed but Denise and Bob did! ) the apartment was spotless, large and light. Can't say enough about Denise and Bob, they are kind, very helpful hosts, the week we had with them flew by!

This was our first time staying at Acadia Suites this past weekend (Easter weekend 2012) and we would definitely come back. The suites are spacious, very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, fluffy towels, and tastefully decorated. We stayed in Suite #3 and it had a queen size bed plus a single bed in the bedroom and a comfy pull-out... More

Acadia Suites is a terrific lodging option in the busy Bar Harbor area. Our suite was a one-bedroom that included a large living area, ample closet space, a well-supplied kitchen, comfortable sleeping quarters, and a balcony overlooking a pretty stream. The suites are kept spotlessly clean and the property is tidy, neat, and guarded by the quietest huskie I have... More
