This is a place where you enjoy the surroundings and meet the other guests. Afternoon tea is most relaxing after a hard day of hiking or shopping, whatever you like. Beds are comfortable and fresh smelling. You might get a room with a bath across the hall or in the room. All are private. It is an older home, three...

Stacy, Ken, and Joyce define Mt. Desert Island: friendly, funny, warm, and gracious. They always make our stay in Bar Harbor worthwhile. Since 1998 we have stayed at this beautiful B&B that is well maintained. We always look forward to the tasty food, good coffee, and nice selection of teas. We usually stay in the cottage, that is clean, quiet,...

Just 2 blocks to Main Street, yet very quiet with a lot of room styles to choose from. Buffet style breakfast is very adequate, tea in the afternoon is a nice touch, great seating porch to sip wine. Try Geddy's for the clams!

The Inn was great! Friendly staff/owners. Nice homemade pastries in the morning and very clean. We stayed for our Honeymoon back in September of 2012 and loved it. I have been coming to Bar Harbor since I was little and have always loved the area and people! I will deffinetly stay here again!

Even before we arrived Stacey helped set up ideas for time while in Bar Harbor. We started with a power breakfast everyday of egg casseroles, baked sweet rolls and fresh fruit with yogurt. Just steps from downtown and harbor! Very convenient.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights in late August. The cottage was delightful even tho the shower had its issues. Breakfast was very adequate and good. The best part was being so close to town. We didn't touch our car for four days. The free transportation to Acadia National Park was a bonus and made for a...

Of the many B&Bs and inns we've experienced, Manor House Inn has to be the best value in its category. It is centrally located in downtown Bar Harbor and close to Acadia but also quiet. The innkeepers are very helpful with planning activities and dining. Our room in the Chauffeur's Cottage was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent...

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Manor House Inn with my two adult daughters. We stayed in the Cottage: we had two rooms on the 2nd floor - Acadia NE and Acadia SE. Rooms were lovely. Bathrooms were well equipped. The cottage has its own porch but we spent late afternoons on the main house's porch during...

Fantastic location, a very short walk to the central part of Bar Harbour. The inn is very quaint, lots of doilies and flowers and general 1960's style of the house - which is beautiful. There's a big porch with lots of places to sit, as well as comfy sofas inside and in the garden. They were quite limited on rooms...

My new husband and I stayed in one of the little cottages out back behind the main house for two nights of our honeymoon and were very happy with our stay. We liked the privacy of the cottage and slept well each night- I have to figure out what kind of sheets they had on the bed, because they were...
