This is a comfortable and cozy B&B. Beautiful gardens and nicely appointed decor. We greatly enjoyed our cottage stay. If you want to 'get away' this is your place, as it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, yet still a short drive to downtown and Acadia. Jack was wonderful! The only negatives were: breakfast held...

Thank you for visiting the Inn at Bay Ledge in July. The Summer Cottage is wonderful and Jack is very informative. Most of our guests with a pallet as limited as yours make arrangements for their breakfasts prior to arrival. Often they will bring diet items they would like us to prepare. It is never a problem. Pearl is our...

Far enough away from Bar Harbor to have an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, but close enough for convenience. Beautiful gardens and grounds behind the inn, overlooking the bay. Steep wooden staircase takes you down the dramatic cliffs to the beach, with rocky coves -- very picturesque. The interior is beautifully decorated, full of lovely decorator items in a quasi-Victorian...

Beautiful B&B about 10 minutes from Bar Harbor proper and Acadia. I loved how it was nestled in the woods, had beautiful gardens, and had a gorgeous view of the ocean. If you stay here, be sure to hike down to the Inn's ocean front-- it's so lovely! We stayed in the Garden Room, which was tiny (but the only...

My wife and I spent three wonderful nights in room number 8. Our room was quiet, a king sized very comfortable bed, and had a jacuzzi bathtub. Breakfast was amazing all three mornings, especially the popover special with strawberry and English custard filling. Jeani, the owner, takes French cooking lessons. Her husband, Jack, does the dishes and keeps the place...

This may be the best B&B in the Bar Harbor Maine area. We just completed a three day stay and wished it was longer. The setting is amazing. Could easily be a post card. The inn is beautiful and well managed by a pair of pros. Jack and Jeannie are wonderful hosts and provide more luxury than you would normally...

Let me start this review by stating that we are a young, upper 20s couple from miami beach. We went on this trip for rest & relaxation and boy we got it! This place is BEAUTIFUL! The staff is amazing, Ellen, Jean, and Jack were pleasant, helpful, and friendly from the moment we got in. We felt like we had...

We stayed at Moose Cottage for the 4th of July weekend. The cottage was clean, quiet and peaceful. An amazing breakfast was served every morning, not the typical muffins and preheated eggs. We are already planing out next trip and will defiantly stay here again.

Our visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park was even better than we had expected and mainly attributed to our stay at the Inn at Bay Ledge. Our little cottage was so comfortable and matched the surroundings. Breakfast was served on the porch overlooking the Bay. Each day, Jeanie made a different breakfast entry which was served in addition...

Nestling in the woods with ocean views and a private beach n the cove below, jack , jean, lucia and Pearl make us feel so welcome-not least to say their beautiful dog, who turns out to be a trained therapy dog who goes into hospitals to help patients recover. We liked this place so much that we stayed a third...

Could be? We have stayed at dozens of B&Bs and the Inn at Bay Ledge certainly rated at the top of our list. We were traveling by light aircraft and arrived a day early and Ellen went beyond the call of duty to change our schedule and accommodate our changes. The location was perfect... away from the hustle of downtown...
