I've stayed at this property at least 10 times this year throughout the winter months. The location is ideal, the rooms are very comfortable, well-appointed and very clean. The front porch is always so welcoming and quaint! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have recommended this property to friends and co-workers and will continue to do so!

New England charm and was a wonderful gathering spot for my brothers from out of town. The staff, Peter, Anna, David and Sharyn was extremely friendly and informative as to what's going on in the area. The rooms are very clean and the beds are so comfortable. Wonderful location for easy access to downtown. We had so much fun that...

Mount Desert is one of my favorite places in the world. I have traveled there with family and alone many times over the years. This last visit, I stayed at a new place- Acadia Hotel downtown. It is opposite the village square in Bar Harbor so the location could not be better. The rooms are beautifully decorated- elegant, modern and...

We had a quiet room toward the back of the hotel. The person on the desk was "filling in" and not particularly friendly. When we checked out the person at the desk was on the phone, so we had very little interaction with any of the staff. The property felt a bit tired, but the location was superb. The porch...

Perfect location in the middle of town and across from the town common. Very quiet and we slept great on comfy bed. Room was very small (which is why I gave it a very good and not excellent) with a king size bed, and the bath was teeny. But nicely furnished with small flat screen TV. Excellent wifi connection. Coffee...

My wife and I had a mini off season vacation in Bar Harbor. We found the Acadia Hotel clean and friendly. The beds were awesome! Very convenient to shops and restaurants. Definitely would stay again. This is a hotel that only has about 20 rooms. It looks like and older style home in the city. It is located right in the middle of town with easy access to the free National park bus or walking town. We stayed in the Cadillac Mt. Suite. It has a living room with a couch bed and a separate...

We stayed here for leg 2 of our babymoon. The off season in Bar Harbor was a little daunting - the whole town was pretty empty and there wasn't much going on. But the hotel itself was so conveniently located we could walk to any open restaurant, and just a short drive to Acadia Natl. Park. Staff was pleasant and...

My bf surprised me with a wonderful weekend getaway to Bar Harbor and we stayed in this little gem. Perfectly situated close to town so we could walk to all the restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. We arrived after dark and were pleasantly greeted by twinkling Christmas lights and a cozy gas fire on the porch. So warm and inviting. It...
