My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary which happened to be on the same day as Mothers Day. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were greeted with a flower for all the ladies, and seated with a great view of the water. Our server was attentive and had a great sense of humor. We both...

We stayed here in April during the off-season. Many other places in Bar Harbor was open but the Acadia Hotel was open for business (including the cozy heat lamps on the front porch). It is absolutely the most centrally-located hotel in town, just close enough to everything without being too close to any of the noise bars and restaurants. The...

Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. The rooms are spacious and clean as a pin! The lemonade on the entrance porch is very welcome after a long walk. It's opposite the park and within walking distance to many shops bars and restaurants. If we're ever in Bar Harbor again we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Thank you for your review! Our location definitely is conveniently located in the center of town, but in a quiet area. I'm so glad you found the rooms clean and spacious; cleanliness is a top priority at our hotel and it is wonderful to know our guests are noticing. Come back and see us again soon!

It's a converted house with most of the rooms up a flight of stairs. Easy parking, just a block off of the main street. Rooms are small, bathroom is tiny. Staff are very nice, accommodating and helpful.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Bar Harbor. The staff is helpful, pleasant and informative, as is the owner. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It has a great location; right off the square. My husband and I had a wonderful time both times we stayed there last year.

The positives were:- - central location - helpful staff - very clean - reasonable sized room - car parking on site The not so positive - breakfast was muffin or muffin plus tea (if available) or coffee - building work was going on next door when we stayed there. Started before 8 then all day and very noisy. - quite...

First time to visit Mount Desert and Bar Harbor. We wanted to come during the off-season to avoid the crowds, and it was a perfect time for us! We stayed in one of the King rooms, and it was very nicely appointed, very clean with parking right outside our window. The host was so helpful, sharing a map with us...

Hello, Thank you for the great review! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your room and found it clean and easily accessible to the parking lot. Coming to Bar Harbor in the off season can definitely be relaxing, but you are correct that not a lot of summer activities are available and many shops have still not opened. Our...

This was a quick stay as we arrived in the late afternoon and left at 7am the next morning for an early medical appointment. There are not many places open in Bar Harbor and this little hotel worked for us under the circumstances. The hotel is right in town and next to the Abbe Museum and the near village green....

We love this place. It is so convenient, clean and charming. We stayed in the Dorr Mountain suite and it was so comfortable for 2 couple's. Great beds and super clean place. The walkability cannot be beat. If you are entertaining a trip to Bar Harbor you cannot go wrong with this place. Step from town and the water..

Stayed in the Mt Dorr suite. Very nice beds. Televisions in every room. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Didn't have but one night there. Came in late and left early. They had bikes for guests which would have been a plus in summer.
