This was our best experience in New England! The motel rooms were spacious and immaculate. The motel had the charm of a bygone era with all the modern amenities. The location was great; close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, plus the price was very reasonable. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms which sat farther back from...

This motel looks like it could be outdated, but far from it! From the flat screen tv to the multliple plug strip for charging electronics, this motel has all the modern amenities, but with days gone by charm. The staff was friendly, the rooms immaculate, and the price was right. The best thing was parking in front of your room...

We spent 4 nights at the Highbrook and were very impressed. The rooms were spacious and very well kept. The front desk personnel were knowledgeable of the area and answered all of our questions. Housekeeping was top-notch and attended to every detail every day. The location was perfect and the grab and go breakfast made the mornings quick and easy....

This hotel was not as nice as I had expected. We paid for deluxe accomodations. and they were only standard. Very old front door on room.Definately not worth the money we were charged. Their breakfast was terrible

This is a motel from the 60's. With a few updates, like a flat screen tv. Courteous check in. Beds were comfortable. Walls and drapes literally from the 60's. And the chain lock, havent seen one of those in a while. But quiet, comfortable. The chart house restaurant was recommended by staff and it was delicious. Good service, right on...

We stayed at the Highbrook Motel on Sept. 14th &15th. The room was large, spotless clean, and had been recently renovated. The location was perfect for visiting Acadia and the town of Bar Harbor. The free shuttle buses stopped at the hotel. The breakfast was great, it included Breakfast Sandwiches, Oatmeal, Bagels, Muffins, Yogurt, Hard Boiled Eggs, Bananas, Orange Juice,...

Room was inviting, clean, and bright. Buildings were well kept and grounds were beautiful. The Highbrook was very close to tourist activity but far enough removed to be exceptionally quiet with a sense of remoteness. Front desk and staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent recommendation for a restaurant close by. Our stay was exceptional measured by facilities and staff.

We stayed here one night of our troops to Bar Harbor and would recommend it as a very clean place to sleep, shower and dash. It serves a great grab and go breakfast, which was nice to grab as we headed to Acadia. It is not a resort hotel but a very basic clean place to stay excellent value!

Cleanest Place I have ever been, retro seventies well done, Family owned and operated very helpful in suggesting trips and restaurants we will be staying here again. The wi-fi is a little slow but thats no big deal, breakfast was quick and easy and better tasting than the big chains.

Thank Jeff H
