We had a nice weekend, in November. The Quimby House was clean and comfy. We checked in late, staying two nights. Carlinda helped us, both mornings and evenings. There was a note on the desk letting folks know that "The Blue Door" was open that evening. It was a short walk. What a great find that was!! We returned there...

We stayed in the annex with our dogs, lovely suite with kitchenette and quite comfortable, Very quiet and a great staff, We were late arriving and they called to check on us! Close to Bar Harbor shopping but well out of the cruise ship crowds.

We booked late but were happy with the booking details and walking distance to town centre. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable but the road noise was awful. If you book this hotel I suggest you ask to avoid Room 101 which is at the front of the hotel on the ground floor right next to the road....

We never stayed in "inn's" before so really didn't know what to expect. Our room was big, clean and the bed was comfortable, but the furniture is outdated. The one thing that bothered us was the smell in the lobby the day we checked in. It smelled like fried fish. The next few days the smell was whatever was cooked...

We checked into our room late in the afternoon. This was not our first stay at Quimby House. We stayed there about three years ago. At that time we had a suite and it was very comfortable. A bit dated, but I would call it more cozy. This time we had a small room. Two adults and a golden retriever...

First, the location cannot be beat. The well stocked grocery is a half block away and that makes the food and drink handy when you are tired of dining out. Two Cats is so very close (and tasty) Second the staff was good (friendly and helpful). Third, don't book here unless you are ok with very dated decor. Even though...

Stayed for two nights. Room was clean and the king sized bed was really comfy. Accommodating and pleasant staff. Short walk to the water and many wonderful restaurants. The free morning coffee isn't great but there are multiple great coffee shops within minutes. Short drive to Acadia park which is well worth the trip.

It was our first time to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park....our trip was great and the Quimby House Inn was one of the reasons for that....room was clean, spacious, reasonably priced and its location was unreal....everything in town was a walkable distance and a 5 minute drive to Acadia...we are definitely going back to Acadia and when we do...

It was ok for a few days and the location was great. But the room needs some updating. My daughters slept on the pull out coach and there were springs/bars in there back all night. Very uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. For the price, there are better options. They allow dogs which was the selling point for us but we'll look around...

The staff and owner of Quimby House Inn were friendly and accommodating. It is much like a B & B without the breakfast which we appreciated, as our goal was to come and go as desired without time restraints. Our room was clean and comfortable. We slept very well. Location was perfect for our needs. The cost of our stay...
