Cosy, charming, friendly, very warm welcome by the lovely hosts susan and barry. We just loved it in spite of having some rainy days. Don't miss susans great breakfast! Good location in foot distance of nice restaurants and bars, but stil very quiet. Good beds. We had a wonderful sleep! Now I don't know any further prosa, but still I...

Excellent accommodations, great location, delicious food, and gracious and friendly hosts. Staying at Hearthside made our first trip to Maine even more special. This is the place to stay when you come to Bar Harbor.

My husband and I stayed at the Hearthside B&B for three nights at the end of July. The first night we stayed in the Romeo & Juliet room and the remaining two nights we stayed in the Glass Menagerie Room. Both rooms were wonderful; the R&J room was bigger with an attached bathroom but the GM room had an awesome...

My wife and I really enjoyed the Hearthside B&B. The bed was very comfortable, breakfasts were great, and the location was perfect. We were on the third floor, and it seems the rooms up there have brand new air conditioners. Our hosts Barry and Susan were wonderful and very accommodating. The location is a block or so from the downtown...

This was our first stay at the Hearthside, but certainly not our last. Susan and Barry really know how to run a B&B. Warm greeting upon arrival; roomy, comfortable accomodations; great breakfasts. The location allows you to wander downtown Bar Harobor without worrying about finding a parking spot. Just a few blocks to the free buses to Acadia National Park....

Hearthside Inn provided a calm respite for us in a town that was overrun with throngs of tourists just a couple of blocks away. Our every need was met - a large, cool and quiet room high on the third floor, decorated tastefully with quilts and teddy bear, very comfy bed, afternoon treats and delicious homecooked breakfast, access to a...

This was our first try at a B & B, so we picked a place that was rated 5 out of 5 both online and by personal friends. I guess we are not the B & B type. There was one refrigerator on site, and someone took my soda, twice. Since we wanted to hike in nearby Acadia National Park...

Susan and Barry made us feel so welcome during our 3 day stay at their B & B. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room which was large, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast are excellant, as are the afternoon cookies and cakes. We would reccommend this B & B as a great place to stay in Bar Harbor
