I have stayed at Eden Villages twice now and enjoyed the stay on both occassions. If you are going to Bar Harbor for a relaxing trip where you don't mind a small element of roughing it than you should stay here. For us being able to grill outside and have the feeling of having our own place, the choice was...

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Acadia National Park in July, traveling with 3 teenagers. The cottages are well maintained, clean and comfortable. Just a short drive from the park entrance, it was very convenient. The kitchen is small but functional and met our needs. There is a nice pond out back with ducks and a play area...

My friend and I stayed there twice, in July and in September 2010; each time the motel rooms were clean and fresh. We had no problem with the Internet access and made used of the back balcony for quiet dinners. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. We haven't tried the cottages yet but we are thinking of renting...

We enjoyed our stay at Eden Village and a place to get away from the downtown area. The cottages are clean and comfortable and set well back from the highway. It is in a beautiful setting and is a nice place to relax in the evenings after a hard day hiking and biking in Acadia. We would definitely stay there...

We choose the Eden Village because of the reviews. The idea of a cottage which would allow us a certain freedom was attractive. Like most properties on Route #3 it is best to be away from the road. This one has most of the cottages a reasonable distance away. We had read the website information and the details which the...

We were pleased with the little cottage (#11) where we stayed. It was tiny but plenty of space for the two of us. We purposely stayed in a cottage vs a motel because it seems only right when you're in New England to avoid the "big houses". We would stay there again. Very reasonaly priced and part of the overall...

I usually go to Bar Harbor with my wife every other year. When it was just us I didn't really care much about the cottage we rented as long as it was clean. Now with a baby and the bed bug issues, we were looking for a quiet, clean, and affordable place to stay. I saw the reviews on trip...

The owner is wonderful - very friendly, outgoing and helpful. We stayed in Cottage #3 with our dog and it was just much smaller than we expected - one room with a *very* well worn/uncomfortable pullout couch and a tiny kitchenette with the microwave occupying one of the spots to sit at and eat. The personal Keurig machine is a...

Myself, my husband, our 10 year old son, and our small dog stayed in (small-ish) cabin 4 (close to the back of the property, away from the traffic and very close to the motel portion of the property) August 14-21. We felt welcomed and were treated above and beyond any of our expectations. The owners (an absolutely darling family) went...

Traveled with our 2 boys (6 and 2) and medium sized old dog. Stayed in cabin 4. It was a 15min drive to downtown Bar Harbor-- we liked the quiet of being away (and to my boys proximity to mini golf was more important!). Unlike other motels/cottages, most of the cottages were away from the somewhat noisey road, with the...
