Loved this laid back set up, felt like home very quickly. If you are looking for a place to connect with people and hear the waves at night even from the cabins on the other side of the beach, this place is a pearl. Feels more like a community then a hostel set up. Dorm rooms are good enough, cleaned...

We, a family with two children, are very happy that we chosed this place for our stay in North Shore. The owner and staff are very serviceminded and friendly, and we liked our family room with two double beds, a small kitchen and balcony w sea view. Free parking and wifi. We had a car and it was very easy...

well, maybe not cheap, but affordable, especially for north shore and especially during the surf comps! Awesome beachfront location at Three Tables Beach (studio room). Very basic, low gloss room and facilities but suited mum & 3 teenagers. We loved the norht shore, the beach front room, riding the bikes to Pipeline & Sunset beaches, the food trucks, and the...

we were a group of 11 people and booked the main house of 3 bedrooms with two sets of bunks in each room, dorm style. There were two bathrooms with a shower and toilet in each room. We had the entire house to ourselves as we booked for 12 people, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and lounge. The house was located underneath...

It´s hard enough to find ANY accomodation on the North Shore, let alone an affordable one. The place has a nice vibe and attracts budget travellers ( if there is such a thing on Hawaii ) and surfers from all over the world. We stayed at one of the apartments they offer. It was like sleeping on one of the...

It was our second time staying there and probably our last. To start the person in charge for the reservation messed up my request (the first time too) and instead of booking a private room booked 1 bed in a dorm. Well… we were 2. Partly was my fault because I actually trusted what she was doing and making a...

beautiful location and most of the staff were friendly but the overall conditon of the hostel was not in good shape. one of my frineds got bed bugs and the bathroom had no soap and lights broekn. Very good with bike hire but just too expensive for the level of quality in the hostel.

I stayed at the Back House for 4 nights. The staff who I had dealt with were very friendly and helpful and were very accommodating for my late arrival and early departure. The surrounds were great - Three Tables beach is pretty much at your door step and a short walk from Waimea Bay. There is a nearby supermarket and...

First up this place is unique and I believe the owner knows this so feels like they do not have to do a lot else with it. The mattress was brown. I'm not fussy but that was pretty bloody gross. The cleaner was great and I stayed in the back house and the whole concept and potential for this place...

Amazing staff, wonderful location within walking distance to many beaches, food trucks and grocery store. I stayed in one of the cabins that is shared between 6 people. shared bathroom, shared kitchen- both large and very clean. I was very impressed- I never felt over crowded, and I always felt safe. It would have been nice to have guaranteed Wi-Fi...
