Visitors to Molokai will find lean pickings on hotels . Local people like it that way because it protects their way of life. Hotel Molokai is the last man standing of this genre. The rooms are in traditional hale buildings in Rt 66 fashion. Think of it as a jumping-off point for island adventures. The beachfront restaurant serves 3 meals...

The lush oceanfront location was super easy to get to from either the airport or the harbor. Our room was right on the ocean; the Ni'ihau bldg., upper floor. It was super clean and updated,;well appointed with coffee maker, mini fridge, nice linens and towels and complimentary necessities. We were close to the pool bar and oceanfront dining room. I...

My girlfriend set this up so I did not know what to expect. The grounds layout is something between the 50 and the 70s. Especially the entry. Perhaps you can call it old style Hawaii? Rooms are clean and comfortable. I believe some or all have private owners because you can find rooms here on AirBNB and elsewhere. Our room...

We flew over from frenetic, crowded Honolulu and we might as well have landed in another state. This rustic, beautiful island is like visiting a small town. The hotel rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. Our bed was a double, don't know if you can get anything larger so ask them. No a/c was a surprise but the island seems...

Exactly what we were looking for in a hotel for our four day stay on Moloka'i. Nothing 'flash', as expected, but great hospitality. Good food at the restaurant. Nightly entertainment. Heading back next year!

We booked in for three nights and stayed for one. The rooms are small and dated and most have no A C. They did have a microwave, coffee machine and scratchy free wifi. The redeeming feature is the open air restaurant overlooking the beach and ocean. The food was good and I thought plentiful. The staff were friendly and were...

There is a reason Molokai is called the friendly Isle, everyone is. The hotel itself is made of a series of connect a frames but its all kept very clean with good quality beds and decent chairs. Love the showerhead too! Looking forward to heading back there every weekend for 2 months on business.
