Clean, spacious w drop dead gorgeous views and on site yoga studio. I'm not sure I could imagine a better place for a retreat. The industrial kitchen makes it easy to cook healthy communal meals and the saltwater pool is perfect for relaxing in between sessions. Plus Marty, the owner, is a kind and gracious host. We will be back!

My husband and I are West Maui residents and spent the weekend here to celebrate our anniversary. We had one of the best Maui vacations we have ever had. We watched the Makawao 4th of July Parade, were able to swim in the pool (which we had all to ourselves one day), and played board games while watching the awesome...

From homemade fresh blueberry scones (thank you John!), to seamless operational organization (thank you Helena), to hosting at its finest (thank you Marty), The Banyan Tree Retreat offers something for everyone. It's kid friendly, environment friendly, and aloha friendly. A fab place to stay while you visit this magical island.

We were treated like old friends returning, even though we had never been a guest there before. I wouldn't stay anywhere else on Maui. The owners went out of their way to make sure our family was comfortable and our needs met. We held our 13 year old grandson's birthday party there with their cooperation and help. They are so...

I have never been to Maui, so I did a search online for places to stay and found this one to look really nice and also be able to fit our whole family. I contacted Marty and from the start everything was very easy. We had 12 of us in our group and rented the main house. It was perfect....

Beautiful peaceful location about 10 minutes walk to the cute local town. Marty and his family were fabulous , so welcoming. Whilst I was there I was lucky to have had the yoga studio to myself and the pool to myself. Fantastic. The scenary from the pool was also fantastic, and I took my last morning's breakfast poolside. What a...

I stayed here for a weeklong retreat in July 2014 and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was helpful and they even surprised me with breakfast, a homemade scone, delicious Maui pineapple, a banana from their banana tree and coconut water. The center also has great modern technical abilities, including wi-fi, flatscreen TV, DVD player, record player, etc. The...

I just came back from a wonderful 5 days, staying in the Ginger Room at the Banyan Bed and Breakfast retreat. Marty and his wife were very gracious hosts. Marty drove me to get to the store in town the first day before the retreat started since it was raining, so I would have some food for dinner that night,...

We stayed in a very comfortable cottage situated in a lovely small town just a short drive from the busy town of Paia. The location is central and ideal. The Banyan B & B is a lovely and private spot owned/managed by Marty, a very gracious and helpful person. The grounds are quite spectacular with much open space, beautiful landscaping...
