We requested a quiet room and we got one not on the oceanside but on the otherside of the road, still 2 minutes walk to the beach (we did not ask for ocean view). The room was clean with a very nice carpet (shoe removal...More
Great site manager. WONDERFUL views and quiet areas that are within walking distance of grocery stores. The manager made some recommendations when we asked about local cuisine and activities. She was SPOT ON. We wound up on the front row at a Luau, which is...More
The hotel is extremely relaxed, like most of Maui! Set around ten miles north of Lahaina, you will need a car to easily enjoy the area. One of the finest beaches on the island lies only a five minute walk away and the facilities are...More
My last review of Napili Surf has been read almost 16,000 times so it seems to me that yet another review may be a bit like over-kill. But my family and I are still smiling from this last stay so I could not let it...More

The constant ocean breeze seems to keep the heat down. As to crowds, I have never seen a problem during Easter break. The two peak times are Christmas and mid Summer.

Front Street in downtown Lahaina? I would guess at least a 15 minute drive. Definitely not walkable. The only walkable restaurants are the Gazebo restaurant and the Sea House restaurant, and I would absolutely recommend both. There are a lot of good places to eat in downtown Lahaina, too, but Yelp or TripAdvisor searches would be more reliable than my memory.

"All rooms face a large lawn that leads right to the beach. Not sure there is a bad view in the resort."
