We stayed here the week of Memorial Day and it was awesome. The condo is extremely clean, beds are comfy, and it is well appointed with towels, paper products, cooking equipment, beach chairs, etc. It was wonderful to go to sleep to and awaken to the sound of the ocean waves. Sea turtles just off shore, gorgeous grounds, barbeques, and...

My wife and I just returned from our Honeymoon in Maui. We decided to go with a condo instead of a big fancy hotel and we're both happy that we made that decision. The condo was on the third floor and had an amazing view of the private little beach and ocean. The beach was awesome, very quiet, and had...

The location of this small, older resort is stellar. The grounds are beautiful and there is a private beach that is fantastic for snorkeling. The caretaker keeps the pool immaculate and the flowers and yard are wonderful. I would stay in this resort again, but not in the unit we stayed in. The unit is rented out during the tourist...

We loved this place. Just in front of a small private beach. Even inside the Fish condo, it was as if we were on the beach! A beautiful view. Everything you need! The condo was well decorated, with small details. We recommend this place. We had an excellent service. The owners will call you right away if you need help.

The beach is wonderful. It is shallow for quite a ways out and good for wading or swimming. One part of the beach has coral and I enjoyed snorkeling and seeing beautifully colored fish and sea turtles. From the beach we could usually watch the large sea turtles occasionally pop their heads up for air. The grounds are well kept...

We had such a wonderful time. The condo was so perfectly clean and comfortable. The view is spectacular as well. Our first day we saw a rainbow and watched the whales right off of the patio! We also watched the turtles in the area. The private beach and pool were just right for us and they are also immaculately kept....

We loved our stay in A406 aka "The Fish Condo". We couldn't have asked for more. It was so homey and filled with everything we could have possibly needed for a vacation on the beach. I almost forgot I wasn't in my own home, it was so comfortable. We were with a few other families with lots of small children...

You can't ask for a better location of this small resort. It is right on a small, private beach, which made our days great. It's also very close to other beaches and the town of Lahaina, but yet away from the main tourist areas. If you are expecting a full service resort, this is not the place to go. They...

Hale Mahina has been our place to stay in Maui for years now. Our son was small when we started coming, and is now 16. We are leaving today and as look down at the pool from A405 he is swimming with 2 other 16 year old boys he met here, I see nothing but kids having a good time...

Thank you so much for this review. My wife and I own two units at Hale Mahina. We've been there with our kids when they were young and as teens and have never heard the managers "yell" at anyone. After I saw a couple of similar reviews to "Intolerant Manager" (loosing a guest because of one), I began watching how...

The location of this complex is perfect. If you have small children or teenagers forget it. Not family friendly at all. Larry and his wife are more like wardens than caretakers. They yell at the kids in the pool for the smallest things and I saw with another family's teenagers (who were well behaved) they overstepped their authority and acted...
