First and foremost Kim and Jim are fabulous host. It's been 10 years since we last visited Hawaii but we are planning on returning and we will stay at Wai Ola, it is a true Paradise. It's not a busy hotel but a very quaint B&B, simple but very clean and it has everything that you can possibly need. We...

It was a perfect venue for us! Separate units for each family group meant babies could wake and not disturb others, and large communal kitchen, living area and terrace gave us plenty of space together. The facilities are first class, kitchen with all you could require, living area with music ,books TV , games etc. There were ceiling fans and...

Eight adults, six kids, ideal place for our family get together. Kids loved the pool. The hose was large enough for privacy if you wanted it The two BBQ helped. We cooked most of our meals out in the patio on the BBQs..Close to Lahaina. Everybody had a great time. We will be back. Jim the owner was excellent.

We had a fabulous time utilizing Wai Ola as our "base of operations" to explore Maui. We had 11 guests from 2 generations of 2 families. We rented the entire property, 4 suites and the common area and it was perfect for us. The owner, Jim, was always available and accommodating. The large common family room and kitchen were ideal...

Wai Ola is a great place to stay and terrific base from which to explore Maui. The premises are neat and tidy, and the kitchen (upstairs) and BBQ (by the pool) are well-stocked. You can easily walk to town, or take the bus if you so choose. Jim is a genial host and always around if you need something or...

We had an absolutely tremendous time. Our host was gracious and attentive, generous with provisions (local fruit and baked treats) and recommendations, tools to make our stay easier (beach chairs, laundry facilities, beach towels), and maintains a lovely retreat amidst a beautiful island. The honeymoon cottage is everything you need and nothing extraneous. We enjoyed the outdoor grills frequently during...

Our three-generation family group of eight spent two weeks at Wai Ola in March and had a wonderful time. We have been traveling together to a tropical location for nine years so we are seasoned in our expectations. Wai Ola met, or exceeded our expectations in every area. The property is maintained in excellent condition and Jim met our every...

Wai Ola is a small B&B in Lahiana, walking distance to several very nice, local restaurants and the beach. We stayed in the Honeymoon Cottage. It was big, clean, and had a very nice private balcony with a sea view. We grilled out on the poolside grills and ate on our own private balcony. The kitchen was simple but sufficient...

We spent a week here with our Children and Grandchildren ~ 14 of us. Jim was wonderful to work with from the beginning to the end. If ever a need Jim met it. It is a great central location to beaches and walking distance to Lahiana. Pool and hot tub were one of the favorite things to do. Accommodations were...

The Wai Ola is the place my wife and I have chosen to stay the last two times we've gone to Maui. The property is well maintained by a great owner, Jim Wicker, and, by being so close to downtown Lahaina, is in just about the perfect location. Our last trip there was in the first week of January and...

“We loved the Honeymoon Suite which we stayed in before the kids came. It was the coolest and quieter since it is a bit separate from the main house.”

“The best suite would be the guest cottage off of the pool as it is far away from the owners suite and would allow for more privacy. However, the bed in this suite is quite uncomfortable. If privacy is not a concern I really liked the suite on the top level (attic area). It was well laid out and spacious.”
