After reading some very mixed reviews on this hotel I was wondering what to expect, after a ten night stay I have been very happy. We had a full ocean view room. The room itself is of a good size, with a fabulous view over the ocean and sunset. There isn't much of a beach outside of the hotel but...

We loved our stay at this hotel. We stayed in a suite, and it was HUGE! It was like an apartment! There was a great view of the beach and resort from the room, the only "downside" being on top of the luau - if that's a downside! The resort itself was enormous, with beautiful landscaping, pools, attractions and a...

Excellent location right on the beach giving you the choice of sea or pool. Brilliant pool for children, 2 water slides, shallow area for toddlers and waterfalls to duck under. Good selection of food and drinks, and the choice of moving to the cafe or bar or having poolside lunch or snack service. Lovely walk along the coast to whalers...

Thanks for the wonderful feedback! I am pleased you enjoyed our location along with the pool. The slides are amazing, I’m sure the kids had a blast. Come see us again soon. Best Regards, Thimothy C. – Guest Relations

Great hotel for families. Amenable to kids at the pool, beach, and restaurants. The kids are allowed to be self-sufficient in a safe, clean waterslide and pool area. Likewise, at the beach, the sand is soft and clean and easy access for families.

We stayed at the Hyatt for 3 nights, for the second half of our trip (first part in beautiful Wailea). I have to say that I loved staying on two parts of the island, mainly because they are so different. The Hyatt and Ka'anapali are beautiful and more action packed for families. Lahaina is very close and wonderful for dining...

This is a gorgeous resort on an amazing island. Besides the amazing rooms and pools, the views are out of this this world. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets, views of neighboring islands, and even a few whales! The luau on property was great and so was the staff. The only negative was that we couldn't stay longer, it was...

In our opinion Kanaapali is one of the best locations in Maui to enjoy the beach, the golf and a good number of exciting excursions from the Hyatt Regency. The Hotel itself has beautiful gardens and is located a few steps from the beach. You can enjoy the different restaurants and the splendid view of the islands of Lanai and...

First impressions of this hotel to be fair are a definite WOW factor, with the eyes feasting on the open air lobby with amazing views over the Pacific. However, a visit to the room slightly dampens the amazement. Ours was on the 18th floor in the main atrium with full ocean view. Stunning, but the room itself was in definite...

The Maui Hyatt Regency Hotel is so over the top, we come back year after year. From the beautiful gardens in the atrium, the penguins, the swans and flamingos, there are lots of on site environments in which to wander. The pool area is spectacular with multiple waterfalls, swim up bar, great, tube water slide, and the fun rope bridge....
