Great little place for couples or families. Slightly off the main path which was nice for us. But I wouldn't recommend if you're into the night life. A bit to far for that. Mostly a retirement crowd. All in all, lots of great people to meet and talk with. I would definitely recommend this place to young families or middle... More

I love this quiet resort. The pool is a little small but you are right on the beach and the ocean is right there with perfect swimming. The ocean is very calm here ( in the innermost section of the bay) so swimming is wonderful. I had a turtle swimming just a few feet away this morning! Lovely beach for... More

We were in Unit 403 for a week in July/August 2016. The location of this resort is perfect. It is a very central location; easy to get anywhere. The beach is just steps from the swimming pool. Unit 403 appears to be recently upgraded. Nice kitchen and bathroom. If we were "home" and not on a lounge chair in the... More

First of all, we originally had set up for a studio room but, for some reason, the resort didn't have us down for staying there (we provided the proof of booking). They did have some rooms avail. and upgraded us to a 1 bdrm at no extra charge which was very generous of them. The room doesn't have a direct... More

Stayed at Kealia Resort in condo/studio #309. Compact kitchen, roomy living room with pull-down wall bed. Upgraded and includes washer/dryer in bathroom area. Ample closet space includes beach "toys" to enjoy a day at the beach. Small lanai is perfect to sit and watch the ocean waves roll to shore. I love the fact that Kealia Resort is centrally located... Our condo in Kealia, #305, was pretty perfect for our 9-night stay in March-April 2016. The view of the ocean let us watch humpbacks whales from our lanai and the gorgeous sunsets over the mountain every evening. The condos are right on the sandy beach as well, with a pretty pool and BBQ area to relax in. Our apartment had... More

We were in unit 303. The good: Well stocked, nice new countertops, super-convenient location, good comfy bed (VERY important- nice medium firmness), KILLER view off the 3rd floor balcony (c'mon, that's what you're really here for, right?), new washer & dryer (they even provided laundry soap!), new cabinets and quiet residents. Well manicured grounds too. Not-so-great: The air conditioner is... More

The condo was incredible. Had everything right there! We saved money by grocery shopping and eating there for part of the meals. They even had a grill outside between the pool and ocean. The view from our deck was of the ocean....amazing!! It was centrally located on the island so that everything was about 20 minutes away. Will definitely stay... More

This unit will soon be remodeled, as I learned in a letter after I booked it. The new owner detailed all the wonderful improvements I would not be enjoying. Kealia #102 does need refurbishing – curtains are worn and stained, the bathroom sink stopper rod keeps falling apart, and everything is just kind of well, very well-used. The main bed,... More

I'm not sure you can get any closer to the beach than here. Absolutely beautiful views from the lanai of our room and from the grounds. Great small pool but you can walk 30 more feet and swim in the ocean. Lots of lounge chairs, spotless grounds. Most of the rooms are rented through the Resort and are privately owned... More
