We rented Bldg 10, Room 214. This place is worn out. Green sofa and chair look pretty good, but you are sitting on the floor practically. DVD did not work, nor TV in bedroom. We contacted owner and he would not reply back. The refrigerator drips water inside. Dining table ok, but chairs are wobbly. 2 of them that were...

Loved the location....our room was dated and tacky...but functional and reasonably clean...do your home work on what your renting as each condo unit varies drastically! the near by surfing was awesome for beginners and the boogey boarding just below the resort was 2 thumbs up.

The location is quite central, ocean view, across from Kamaole Park where we saw reefs lives, titles, eels, octopus when snorkelling. Ours a one bedroom plus loft, the terrace is big enough for dinning for six people, while listening to the ocean sings. Quiet at night as quiet hours is from 10pm to 8am. It's about half an hour drive...

Have been coming back here since 2009. We rent the same place from HSI and have been staying in building 7 - 402 a 2 bedroom suite with a loft that accommodates 6 persons. The unit has a view of the ocean and Kaanapali mountain from the balcony. Kamaole beach 3 is just across the road, very easy access to...

Our family has been to Maui only four times in 25 years, but have stayed in these condos each visit. During our recent Christmas/NY holiday stay, we were in a newly remodeled 3-bedroom, 3-bath unit, and it was lovely! Easy walk to one of the island's best public beaches (Kamaole Beach III), and accessible to many of the island's sites.

We love this place. Yes, it is somewhat dated but that's part of the Maui charm! Yes, you do need to drive quite a bit, but that's fun and this condo is central to visit the other areas of this amazing island. A little beach is just a 5 minute walk away - sure, it isn't the best of the...

Since each unit is individually owned, the quality you'll receive varies. Our unit was very dirty (walls and floors), outdated, and there was even a whole in the wall covered up by a mirror. The staff at the resort is pleasant, and the location across from multiple parks is convenient. Expect to drive a lot though if you want to...

Each unit is different, but I think they all have s long dark hallway which I didn't like. Very clean. Fun Mai tai party. DO NOT DO THE TIMESHARES the concierge convinces you to do to save money. It is a one hour ride away, and we were there 7.5 hours. They are very persuasive and we were just about...

It is a fabulous property but we feel it is overpriced for the 1970/80s-style units. We also feel that a $100 cleaning fee in addition to the rental is a rip-off. The unit we were in definitely needs an upgrade; however, the general property is well-kept and very pleasant - grounds, pool, BBQ + proximity to a great beach.

Classic Bait and switch scheme - the price seemed decent and when we wanted to check in there was a $150 surprise charge for "resort fee" and $109 (!) for cleaning fee. These were not disclosed up front and hit as a surprise. Insult to injury they provided a brochure with $20 cleaning fee, so why are they charging $109?...
