We loved the Lani Studio. It had a glass "wall" facing the lanai which was lush with tropical vegitation. Kitchen was very well outfitted. Loved the outdoor shower. Owner Tom was very helpful with info about Hana. The furnishings had a lovely theme of palm trees, a good TV, no bathroom sink, which is odd, but was not a problem....

This review is late getting posted, but Mrs. Fred & I took the little Fredinas to Maui for a couple of weeks in 2009, staying 1 week at Hana Maka Kai (the second week was on the west side) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I had seen this house several years ago when Mrs. Fred & I came to Maui...

Hana is beautiful and our stay was fantastic. If we're in Hana again, we will no doubt stay here again. Our room and bathroom was very clean and private. Our small balcony/porch area was quaint with a beautiful view. This place was a great stop on our fantastic trip through Maui. The owner is great; he's very friendly and knowledgable,...

I was very happy when I pulled up to our accommodations. We stayed in the Lani Studio. It has its own private driveway off of the Hana Highway. You don't have to go anywhere to "check in". They advise you they will leave the studio unlocked and the key is left on the kitchen table for your arrival. We enjoyed...

We stayed one night in Lani Too to not only break up the drive around the Island, but to have some of the nearby beautiful attractions almost to ourselves late afternoon/early morning- Hamoa Beach, Venus Pool, the Pipiwai Trail and Waimoku Falls. Bring your own food and drinks, so you can enjoy the quiet peaceful night. The house was clean...

We decided to stay overnight in Hana rather than make it a day trip. We rented the studio, which was cozy and cute and had a view of the ocean. It was raining so we didn't use the jacuzzi, which was outside. We didn't cook but the kitchen seems well-equipped. Shelly was very nice and helpful but we had our...

This place has so much going for it I'll have to break it down: Location: You can't be in a better spot, right across from the Venus pool and less than a mile from Hamoa beach (hands down my favorite in Maui). Service: Tom was great, even giving me a new container of butter when I forgot to pick some...

We stayed in the studio cottage. Very nicely decorated and located close to all the great locations in Hana. Tom is very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend staying the night in Hana to get a true feel of the area! We will be back!

I had a wonderful solo stay in the Hideaway with Hana Accommodations. The studio was just large enough for me with a queen size bed, small kitchen area (behind a sliding curtain) and large bathroom. The kitchen had a microwave, small fridge, coffee pot, blender, toaster and every little necessity that you might need. The front porch was also wonderful...

Our extended family of 6 spent 2 nights at Maka Kai and had a great visit. You can't beat the price and location. If we did this trip again, we would have spent more time in Hana and less on the west shore. The house is near the road, as pointed out by other reviewers, but there is little traffic...
