Great place to stay away from the crowds but close enough to all that maui has to offer. Sandy welcomes you into her home and shares her love of maui and its people with you and has many tips of places for you to expore.

I was chocked to experience this place, not at all as described. Very unloved place, humid, rotten smelling and with bugs in lamps, stains on towels etc. Meagre breakfast and moody hostess. Creepy place that was once beautiful.

I decided to respond since I am truly not sure why we would be reviewed in this manner. Sometimes I do think not giving the energy into something that is so negative and incorrect is drawing more attention than necessary. Other readers can make their own decision as to why this might appear. However, if anyone takes the time to...

I had a wonderful stay at the Haiku Plantation Inn this week. I enjoyed staying at the Inn because Sandy opens her home and her heart to her guests. The breezes blowing through the house was so invigorating and the Hawaiian décor was perfect. I found the home and grounds authentic and charming. I will definitely stay here on my...

Life in Haiku is fully a special experience and I am so glad you had the opportunity and heart to feel and enjoy this wonderful side of the island. It's nice to still live in a location where Aloha is lived daily and where visitors can actually meet and share time with our local population. Mahalo again for staying with...

We started our Hawaiian time share beach vacation this year with grand children for a week. It was wonderful to see how much fun a family vacation can be. Then we headed to the up country and finished our days at the Haiku Plantation Inn. It was just what we needed to wind down and relax before heading back to...

We usually go to Maui in February, but this year we tried September. The accommodations at this B&B were once again nice and much more quiet because of the time of year. Sandy again provided a wonderful breakfast each morning and made us feel right at home. The only difference was the # of other guests. We're considering doing this...

We have been spending a week at the Haiku Plantation Inn Bed and Breakfast every year for at least the past 10 years, and it never gets old. The house was formerly a doctor's residence on a sugar plantation, and Sandy has maintained and furnished it in (an eclectic) Hawaiian style. We have stayed in all but one of Sandy's...

we were super excited about our stay and expected a lovely house with great service. We were very disapointed by the hostess, it seems that we were annoying her. The first morning we were jetlagged so woke up at 6am, the romm next to us too. The hostess was so annoyed that we are awake so early and be int...

Aloha, it's a shame these guests felt this way. We and I truly apologize if anything they viewed was construed other than me extending hospitality. I do believe I can understand possibly what happened. It is important for them to get a response and for future guests. I believe this is a case of someone misunderstanding a situation for extending...

My wife and I stayed at the Haiku Plantation Inn during August of 2015 and we both wish we could have stayed longer. The house is a beautiful and very well kept traditional Hawaiian home on a piece of property that is gorgeous. It has banana, mango, cashew, avocado, and coconut trees just to mention a few. Sandy, who owns...

Sandy is a wonderful hostess at her very spacious house. Loved the well equipped house and so will you. Close to the Hana highway made for a reasonable day trip to Hana, and also another day trip to the Haleakuka Crater. Took a third day trip from here to the lavender farm, Oprah's house, and. Few restaurants. Plenty to see,...
