Very interesting place. Old plantation facilities fixed up to be quite quaint and OK, nothing fancy. Their Grill was very good and the service very nice. Not always open but there are a few little cafes that are good that are available.

You have 2 choices on Lanai, the Four Seasons at $1,000.00 per night or the Hotel Lanai at $225.00. The difference is night and day and youbgetbwhatbyounpay for. Hotel Lanai has the basics, clean room, clean bed, small shower, and VERY thin walls. A continental breakfast is served daily. If you want eggs, etc, bheadvin over to Blue Ginger. If you want...

This small hotel has some charming features, but not many. The best rooms, of course, are the lanai rooms, particularly if you are there with friends. It's nice to socialize on the deck. But that's the extent of the activities. Buy some wine and a deck of cards. I knew this Lanai City and this hotel was very small and...

Take a step into the past at Lanai hotel. Rooms furnished with a fair number of antiques and great art work. The restaurant with the new chef is excellent and truly a 5 star dinning experience. They are also able to accommodate celiac folks with gluten free selections. The only draw back is some thin walls so if you sleep...

We have just spent 4 days on Lanai. So, please read this entire review if planning a trip. For background, we go annually to Maui during prime whale season, January thru March. We always visit a second island. This year Lanai was our "second" island. This was our 5th trip to Lanai. The first very important decision you need to...

This hotel was tiny but did have a great restaurant that should not be missed. The rooms were clean but not quiet, walls were thin. But at 1/4 of the Four Seasons well worth it. The hotel is great if your looking to explore the island and use it as a base

We were island hopping and exploring and like to do some off-the-beaten path places and decided on Lanai. Unfortunately, the weather gods stranded us at the Honolulu Airport for an unexpected overnight (our plane tried to land but turned back) and chaos the next day (tiny airline only re-seated one of us on the next day's flights - what a...

Rooms are nice but small. Reminiscent of 1930's. A sweet place with nice grounds. The dining room has been remodeled and is not as nice as we remembered from the past. Rooms run around $300 and the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The food in the dining room is overpriced for the quality of food. This has been...

If your into camping with four walls .. this is the place for you! The immediate sight of the room is quite quaint and appealing, with windows open for fresh air, however, after close inspection and closing the windows you begin to smell that damp musty, almost cat pee smell ,, mainly from the type of plantation that grows there,...
