We loved our first floor ocean view room at Islander on the Beach. It is close to LIH airport and location was great for exploring both north or south. It was so relaxing listening to the ocean as we sat on the lanai or as...More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Aston Islander. Our room was very spacious and really beautiful. I loved the decor and the beds were amazing. We could see a slice of the ocean from our room and lanai. There was a mini fridge, microwave,...More

The Aston is not too far from LIH airport and is pretty much centrally located in getting around the island to the other attractions. We used frequent flyer points to stay here and chose the Aston based on reviews from tripadvisor. We were looking for...More

There are at least 3 places close by that rent snorkels and masks by the day or week. One is in the building right to the west side of the Hotel entry. Prices very reasonable - especially by the week. You can get bikes that way too and that's a great way to get around on the East side of the Island. You can rent Kayaks too. Cost is a few dollars a day depending on the type you rent. Go Snooba diving. There's a place on the South side where you use snorkel gear but have a tank follow you on the surface. (And a trained diver.) Doesn't require training and you can get down 15' and stay down. Highly recommend it if you like to dive but aren't trained in Scuba. Cost about $75 per hour per person.
