Excellent inland location, away from crowded areas along the shore. Beautifully situated next to a golf course hosting occasional Nene geese. This resort offers apartments, which we favored for an 8-day stay. Resort is quiet in October; nice shallow swimming pool, which is good for young children. Internet can be spotty at times. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and our...

I was surprised to see some of the more negative reviews of this place. We got a great rate through hotels.com. Carpet and furnishing are older, but still in good condition. Amenities were good, dishwasher, henkel knives, housekeeping will refill detergent and paper towels as needed. We had a one story that backed up to the golf course. Saw nene...

Most of the units are 2 story; Carpet is 20-30 years old. Second bedroom is extremely small. Front "balcony" is unusable because A/C takes up most of the space. A/C carries a surcharge of $6/day. Resort did not have my reservations in early October despite having been made in May. Fortunately, I telephoned the resort a week early and they...

Very nice, quiet time share backing up to golf course. Lovely views! Time share a little dated but very clean, comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Roomy living areas. Wild turkeys and Nene Geese come right up to lanai but do not feed! Nene is endangered and protected! State bird of Hawaii and so special to see up close. Pool area nice...

October 28, 2016 - The RCI description said that you are close to the beach. What they don't say is you need a car to get there. Very costly from airport to resort. The resort is about 18 miles from Kona Airport - taxi ride from airport one way is $100.00. RCI should highly recommend rental car needed. The island...

Aloha Belinda Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience here at Paniolo Greens. We definitely recommend renting a vehicle, not only for stays at this resort but for exploring the island in general. While we do have a grocery store and a selection of restaurants within a short walk of the resort, having a vehicle definitely...

Stayed in two different units, both with views of the golf course. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchens are adequately supplied, but don't have a lot of extras. There's a bit of noise from mowing at the golf course and it was quite windy when we were there. The staff was super helpful, I was unusually high maintenance and...

I was attending a conference at the Hilton Waikoloa Village but didn't fancy paying their rates - in the end I found that Paniolo Greens plus hiring a car worked out cheaper, so decided I would give it a go. Apart from the slight inconvenience of having to be based about 15 minutes drive away, it was well worth it....

We based ourselves here for 5 days when we visited the big island. It's a great spot, rooms large with good appointed kitchen and there is laundry services in the room. Pool and spa excellent. Close to a small shopping center for the basics. About a 15 minute drive to King and queen shopping centers and blue Hawaiian helicopter tours...

Paniola Greens was a great place to stay. Overlooking a magnificent golf course with turkey's and geese in residence. The unit was fully catered for, was spacious and comfortable. Four of us used the unit and if I had a criticism it would be that the 2nd bedroom is to small for adults. The staff were friendly and helpful.
