While the location and setting are great, the rooms are very tired and shabby. We stayed in a deluxe corner room. The room was spacious but it looked deserted- large bed, tv stand and dilapidated couch. Really, the Marriott management needs to spend a bit of money here. The desk clerk told me that the hotel has been for sale...

Everything nice as usual, but Anaehoomalu Bay beach is perfect. They have Ocean Sports Activities Desk. Kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding, surfing, sunset cruises. A lot of beach activities right on the bay.

Coming up from Kona, we were amazed at the difference in atmosphere and luxury. We would have been better served staying here the entire trip and daytripping to Kailua-Kona. The open air atmosphere is very relaxing. Multiple pools and spas, we especially enjoyed the infiniti pool. Short walk along a path over lava rocks to lounge on the beach and...

Recently spent a week at the Marriott here and only have kudos for the stay. Staff was good and friendly, room was clean and up to par as is usually the case in a Marriott hotel. Very open lobby and dining area along with a large bar where they have a bar menu which was enjoyable and a pleasant atmosphere...

This hotel is very beautiful, easy to navigate. Three of my favorite things include the location (walking distance to two malls and a lot of restaurants), 24/7 pools, and 24/7 workout facilities. You are welcomed with the best tasting Mai Tai in Hawaii! The gift shops has a large variety of souvenirs, toiletries, and snacks. Rooms are nicely appointed, but...

Our first room had a great view but was right next to the air conditioning unit for the hotel, so we asked to move. The Hotel did this promptly with no fuss. Our second room had a great view over the pools, ponds, palm trees to the ocean beyond. Both rooms very clean and a good size. I was worried...

We're avid Marriott hotel guests. Each location has its own decor and what we liked so much about this one was walking into the lobby. It's completely open and inviting and you immediately glimpse the ocean in the distance. Ann checked us in and was there for check out--she was very helpful. We had a room on the 6th floor...

My husband and I stayed here two nights. This is a nice resort nested at the Waikoloa Beach, surrounded by lava, blue water and somewhat wild landscape. It faces west so it's a great place to watch sunset, either from its beach, its infinite pool or its open lobby. One morning there were a dozen dauphins in the bay, swimming...

Entering the place after a long flight was disappointing coz the first impression was that the place had seen better days. The carpets were old and a bit dirty, the elevator was smelly, the door handle of our bathroom door was broken, the fridge didn´t work, and the worst thing was the bad smelling air condition in our room that makes you wonder what "lives...

We stayed for two weeks in November at the resort in an Ocean View room. The setting and grounds are exceptional with beautifully kept grounds, well maintained pools (infinity for the grown ups, slide for the kids) well kept pool area and easy access to the beach through historic fish ponds. There was not nearly enough shade by the pool...
