When we decided to spend the night near Kilauea Crater to view the lava at night, we found a vacancy at the small Lokahi Lodge. Our upstairs room (201) was very nice. Extremely spacious, comfortable bed, kitchenette, couch seating area, everything you need. The view of the rainforest just outside was lovely. Price very reasonable, especially compared to the iconic...

Quaint little guest lodge is how I would describe this place. Really not bad at all and in a beautiful location. Clean room but very basic. Reminds me of guest quarters at the dude ranches I used to visit.

We stayed two nights during our honeymoon. We´ve chosen this hotel, due to the good location next to the Volcano national park (below 5 minutes per car to main gate). The lodge is located in the middle of the nature. The room was quite big, clean and had a nice atmosphere. There was no opportunity for breakfast at the lodge,...

We stayed here for only a night and got a corner room which was quite large. This place is managed under Kilauea Chalet and we had to go to the main building which is driving distance away to check in and collect the keys. They were very helpful to ensure that we didn't get lost, sending an email with detailed...

Very good location of the lodge. The service staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful; we felt immediately welcomed. The size of our room was quite large and roomy with comfy interior. Everything was tidy, there is a small kitchen and there's free wifi. All in all: perfect for our needs.

This was our second stay at Lokahi Lodge. We stayed in the upstairs loft. It was spacious, comfortable, and super close to Volcano National Park. Nice kitchenette with mini-fridge & microwave and sink. Plenty of storage. Big dining table with 4 chairs. I wish we'd had 3 nights instead of one.

We arrived after check-in closed, but the keys were waiting for us in an envelope at their central office, so all worked fine. The lodge is a little dated as some other reviewers have noted, but it was so well kept that it was a bit of a time-travel experience to the decor of another era rather than being unappealing....

We recently visited the Volcano National Parks and just needed a simple place to stay and found the Lokahi Lodge. The rooms are quite basic and the bed relatively comfortable. That's ok I suppose. However!!! When checking in we were dealt with by an unfriendly man on reception who wasn't really helpful with the area or what was going on...

Great location if touring HVNP. It's well priced, not a chic, high end accommodation. This is a small, house size property. Very well equipped room though. Nice shower, mini fridge, coffee maker, comfie bed, hot tub, patio overlooking very pretty, lush garden. Really everything you need. The office is at a different location so there is no service at the...

In an environment where mold is more common than a day without rain, this place was refreshingly dry. The decor is dated but everything worked and the bed was comfortable. There is no food served on site but Volcano is so small there are cafes and restaurants near by.
