We stayed here on September 26 & 27 in the cottage closest to the lodge and it was absolutely fantastic. It exceeded our expectations! It was luxurious, comfortable, and spa-like with 3 rooms; bedroom, bath, front room with fireplace, and a porch to sit outside on. The grounds are stunning and the birds sing you songs all day long in...

Stayed there on a whim but was totally impressed. The room was cozy with a nice gas fireplace. We ate at the restaurant which was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and wonderful. The breakfast was also awesome. The common room had many different things to do. Can't wait to go back there again!!

We stayed here for two nights during our trip to the Big Island and Maui. We wanted to be close to the Hawaii Volcano National Park so that we could try some photography at night. The lodge is very, very nice. We stayed in the Hale Maluna building which has 4 rooms. Our room was on the second story, very...

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon. We stayed in the 1 bedroom cottage which was lovely and cosy – and only a five minute drive from Volcano National Park. The only slight negative was the lack of curtains on the windows, which combined with the jet lag led to early waking! But we really looked...

My wife and I stayed at the Kilauea Lodge for two nights at the end of September 2013 and found the place to be rustically romantic, spotless, homey. It feels like an European alpine wooden lodge surrounded by ferns and rainforest with rooms complete with fireplaces which exuded such a unique atmosphere that it left a special impression. We had...

My husband and I stayed for one night (9/21) in the Ohia room. The room was tastefully decorated and cozy with the gas fireplace. We enjoyed the jacuzzi outback too. The grounds are beautiful and as a bird lover, I enjoyed the bird artwork and magazines. The lodge is one mile from Volcano National Park, which was extremely convenient for...

We have been staying at the Kilauea Lodge for years. Up until this year we had always stayed offsite in Tutu's Place which is a two-bedroom cottage. Wonderful! One of our favorite parts of the stay is the included breakfast. This year it was just my husband and I so we opted for a room at the lodge. The room...

Came to Volcano for three nights with my two boys (age 4 & 7) & was so lucky to have chosen this place. Our cabin (the Hideaway) was very spacious & decorated in the style of 'hawaiian zen'. Our kids had room to spread out & it was worth it for the views, fireplace and ambiance. Cant imagine staying anywhere...

Stayed here with my family in January towards the end of our trip around Hawaii, very impressed with the spa, free wifi and other comforts. Despite the wet weather we had a wonderful & relaxing stay, the staff at the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating and good vegetarian food options for me. Beautiful wee cottage :)
