We stayed at a private house some miles away from the main lodge; it was great! It was a very short drive to the Kilauea National Park. The house, actually two buildings were on this property. Each had all of the amenities and they were very comfortable. Located in a residential community, on the golf course, it was very quiet.

We traveled from Kona area to spend some time at the volcano and were able to book a charming guest cottage st the Kilauea Lodge. Not only did spending the night allow us to get into the park after dark and see the lava (wow!), it also provided our family to have a lovely dinner fireside at the main lodge,...

If you are visiting Volcanos National Park, there is so much to see that you'll probably need to rent a place to stay for a few days. Since we were traveling as a family, we decided to rent the Ola'a Plantation House at Kilauea Lodge instead of renting two rooms. It was a great decision. First of all, the proximity...

On a lark, we ventured from a resort on the Kona side of the Island to see the Kilauea Volcano and did not realize how long a drive it would be. We managed to arrive at Hawaii Volcanos National Park by nearly dark and decided to stay the night in nearby Volcano. We picked this particular B&B on a recommendation...

We loved our stay at the Kilauea Lodge: our room, the lovely gardens, the meals, and friendly staff all exceeded our expectations. The lodge is very close to the park which made it easy to come and go (and see the glow of Halema'uma'u crater after dinner.) Our room (the Kimura) was spacious and charming, and the gas fireplace created...

Stopped for lunch on our trip to the volcano. Started with a Mai tai and my husband had a strawberry dacquiri- both good. We shared a cup of celery coconut soup- ordered it because it sounded interesting. It was great. I had the steak salad wither ginger lime peanut which I really enjoyed. My husband wanted the antelope burger but...

We loved this lodge. Everything was so tastefully done. The room, decorations, pathways, common room play area, restaurant,....Such a beautiful place. Wish we had stayed longer. The restaurant was really good. Definitely recommend this place for anyone. They were so thoughtful to ask us what kind of bed (like 2 twins or one big king) we wanted before our stay...

This was my second time to stay at the Kilauea lodge. I love being there and in fact I thought that maybe I should just move there. It's a lovely building with beautiful grounds, a very nice dining room and excellent food. The staff are very accommodating.
